I applied for SID and SSPAD, in SID i was put in waiting list and in my college i got sortlisted sooner.. so i opted for my college. Admission process is really simple, there is an exam called SEED, you need to qualify that, and then you get yourself into a Portfolio review and Personal interview round. If you qualify that you get in.
I applied to all the colleges that relate to design like NID, NIFT, SYMBIOSIS PUNE, UPES, ISD etc. but the reason I chose this college was because this college had the best infrastructure amongst all of its competitors. The college had all the amenities that you look for be it sports, food, student life, etc. The only college i didnt get into from the above mentioned was NID and the rest were my options to chose from.
I preffered this college over others because it have particular placement commite which helps student to get placed to various companies and this college is better then other colleges in varoups perspectives like the infrastructure and one of the strongest points are hostel. Hostel is a lot nicer then i expected contating AC and many other things.
The admission process which I went through was very easy and I was admitted through the DAT exam hosted by Symbiosis International University. Although I wanted the Pune branch coming to SSPAD Nagpur was also one of my fruitful decisions. I currently study the Industrial Design (BDes) specializing in Product Design and am currently in my final year. All these 4 years I received help and thorough guidance from the professors and participated in several competitions. i also happened to do my first internship at IDC IIT Bombay in the Interaction Design domain during May and June 2023.
We have to sit for the entrance exam Once you clear it There is a GD session overall its a good process And I have done hard work to get into this college The faculty here is very experienced Our director is also coordinating And the infrastructure is best in central India

I had applied for the course through the online portal and soon after we were asked to appear for a portfolio and task submission and later a personal interview where these were reviewed. We were given three days to prepare after we received details of the task through email which focused on testing your problem-solving and model-making skills. The results came later on through email.
The admission process was easy. The college website was updated, and everything regarding the application form, fees, course, and personal interview was there. Details regarding Nagpur domicile were also provided.

The admission process was pretty straight forward, you apply for the exam/interview, you get your dates and give the exam. After that an affirmation email wouldn't be sent to inform of wether you have received admission or not. The interviews would require you to submit a portfolio and a face to face q and a would be conducted. There is reservation for students who are native to nagpur which provides a fee concession.
Course curriculum is a bit dry and boring in the first year but things become interesting in the second when you begin with your specialisation. Faculties are decent for the first year but really improve in the second when the specialised course faculties also teach us.
Course is excellent. Acadamics wise as well as faculty wise. Architecture involved lots and lots of manual work. So according to me faculties help us doing all are work and are very supportive at the same time.
