* Few seats are reserved as Discretionary Quota Seats. Only students with reasonable academic record and with good entrance test scores are considered for Discretionary Quota Seats. The fees for Discretionary Quota seats will be double the academic fees of the open category as approved by the Fee Structure Committee, to be paid to the institute by way of online transfer/demand draft. No donation or capitation fee is charged for admission to any program at any institute of SIU. Once admission is taken in Discretionary Quota, the fees applicable to Discretionary Quota will have to be paid by the student for the entire duration of the programme.

Infrastructure of the college, academic and non academic staffs and the hostel accommodations are very high stared.

Dislikes

There is not much to dislike about the university but something's like mess the food is not that good so thats the only thing i dislike here the most

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facilities are pretty well a lot better then i expected . We have Ac's in our room which is a strong point and the room is a lot spacious according to 4 peoples and the staff is super friendly including wardens.

The hostel facility is good 1 room 3 sharing And the fee is 225000 approx annually And mess food is good The mess has a seating of 2000 people With 4 times meals serving We have an extra canteen and bakery on campus which serve delicious food

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities are pretty good. The rooms are well-made and clean and proper maintenance and care is taken of them. The2 fantries facility on each floor is also appreciated. There is an adequate amount of privacy for a person in a room with the overall ambience of it being nice. Even the attendants do a good job.

Campus Life:

Our college has a few events, none ot them is considered as the annual fest or something like that. The biggest one is CosArt which is a 2 day event featuring art exhibitions stalls cultural programs. Our library is really vast, and in almost every aspect youll get a book there, but they have really small stock of magazines. Tech aspects and facilities of classes are not that great but not that bad as well. The sports and extracurricular activities are huge here, we have a lot of events tournaments going live very frequently.

Campus Life:

Our college has an annual fest named "COSSART" every year around the month of January, which is basically a flea fair where all the students can sell their art and craft items or have game related stalls or even food stalls. Coming to the library which has all the necessary books and we also get access to the online collection of books free of any additional cost. The airconditioned classrooms have enough space as per the class strength and have a projector for easy learning. The sports offered include futsal, volleyball, basketball, badminton, cricket, table tennis, etc. and the gym facilities offered are one of the best in terms of other competitors. There are club activities almost every week, some of the student run clubs would be photography club, book club, anime club, movie club, dance club, music club, etc.

I have opted for the hostel. The hostel is the best part of the entire campus. Infrastructure wise, it's convenient enough. Sharing a room with 3 people, with one bathroom and one restroom and the room size is more than enough. Hostel facility like cleaning staff and laundry is not very upto the mark in terms of speed and accessibility.
