SIBM Nagpur Admission 2025

SIBM Nagpur offers Postgraduate and research programs in Management, including MBA and Ph.D. programs.

MBA is offered as the flagship course at SIBM Nagpur. Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Nagpur is located in the MIHAN Nagpur, Maharashtra, in a green campus environment. It is approximately 15 km from Nagpur Railway Station and about 10 km from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport.

SIBM Nagpur have a modern and tech-enabled campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including smart classrooms, a central library, fully equipped computer labs, and seminar halls. The institute also includes conference facilities and innovation centres. It provides separate hostel accommodations for male and female students, along with sports facilities, a fitness centre, and a hygienic cafeteria to support student well-being and academic life.

As per the students review, the campus is very beautiful and peaceful. The environment is amazing, and it feels nice to be here. All religions are respected, and festivals are celebrated, so students feel included and welcome. The teachers teach really well. They explain every topic in detail, so it's easy to understand the subjects.

But there are some problems too. The mess food is very bad. Sometimes, it's so bad that you can't even eat it. Also, transport is not good because the campus is far from the city. And there are very few shops on the campus, so it's hard to buy daily things.

things that i like about campus, college and many more are- cleaning staff, watchmen, teachers, doctors everyone is so helpful. they are ready to help students whenever a student needs help from them. i love campus life so much.
the campus has state of the art infrastructure and world class facilities for all round development of students. the mba program will be fully residential , with excellent hostel facilities, including wi-fi and air conditioning.
other than sibm nagpur there are 4 institute in the campus that provide opportunities to make connections with another institutes' students that can provide you overall development.

Dislikes

sometimes it is very difficult to understand the person because mostly people are from differnt states and some it is not easy to cope with.
sibm nagpur was inagurated in 2019 and this this the 5th year of sibm nagpur . it takes time to become a reputed business management college like sibm nagpur.
symbiosis international university nagpur provide has many courses like bba, mba, law, be tech , design and any many more. it is mandatory for every student to be in proper/complete uniform once you get admission there.

the campus placement season begins in the third and fourth semesters. it commences in July and goes on till the end of the academic year. the companies visited for final placements in sibm Nagpur were KPMG, deloitte, Grand Thorton, hdfc AMC, ICICI Bank, sbi life Insurance, kpit, tat aig and many more . as per the batch of 2023 , the highest package offered was 18 lacs per annum and the average package was 11.50 lacs per annum. the company that gave a higher package was ITC Rs 18 Lakhs and the lowest package was given by hdfc amc rs 7.7 lakhs. some popular jobs after an MBA in finance are credit analyst, investment banker, relationship manager at banks/NBFCs, financial analyst, research analyst and many more.and the package is decided based on the knowledge that the person has.

the range and accessibility are easy to access the library online as well as offline. the time of library is 9:00 am to midnight. students can issue books from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. There are three floors lower ground, upper ground, and 1st floor in the library. the facilities in the class are- whiteboard, marker, mike, dice, projector, AC, fan, LED lights, and many more. so many extracurricular activities conduct in college .there are so many sports which are played on campus are futsal, basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, Kho-Kho, etc. and extracurricular activities like dance, singing, drama, mismatch day, holi, badminton, dandiya, ganesh puja, etc. there so so many clubs and committees which are placeement committee , symfonia, finomics, oplava, huros, corporate connect and many more which provide so many opportunities to students to learn from it.

f we are talking about 2023-25 batch the tution fees in sibm Nagpur is 15 lakh and it hikes yearly because of inflation and other reasons. the complete cost of sibm Nagpur is 23 lakhs which includes all charges from tution fees to hostel fees. some scholarships are awarded to students which are merit-cum-means scholarships, Nagpur domicile category scholarships, and global immersion program scholarships. sibm nagpur is a constituent of siu . it has been established with the aim of imparting world class education to students and transforming them into top notch business leaders. Students view on MBA with finance course and its placement opportunity in the domain

this college provides mba in finance which attracts to pursue mba from here. the companies which are coming for finance are also one of the factors to pursue mba. finance related companies for finance placements are SBI Life Insurance, Hdfc AMC, Tata Aig etc. there is a club called Finomics which conducts activities and competitions related to the finance field so that students could gain knowledge through these too. it provides me immense number of opportunities theoretically as well as practically. the level of difficulty is easy anybody can crack it if he prepares dedicatedly for 3 months.

What are facilities being provided in the college hostel?

the facilities provided in the room are a study table, almirah, LED lights, washroom, toilet, basin, drawers, balcony for clothes, beds, charging point, fan, ac, etc. menu is different for every week and there are so much varieties in the food. Like South India, north Indian, Chinese, Japan, etc. the pulses that are used while preparing the food is A1 quality. the registration process is done when the student comes to live in the hostel everyone is cooperative in the campus. the hostel life is amazing. for mba students, it is compulsory to stay in a hostel in campus so no outside stay. it is mandatory for the students to the residential programme to stay in the campus hostel. the amount paid for the food from the campus facility

How to get admission in the college and what sets the college stand out ?

If you want to get into Sibm Nagpur, then you need to fill out the snap form, and you have to fill out forms of the particular college that accepts the snap scores. A person can make a maximum of three attempts. Snap scores are different to different categories. I am from ST category so i know that only I scored 81 percentile and my score is 31 . Because of this i was shortlisted for SIBM Nagpur, SIBM Pune and i also filled out the forms of these colleges. If you want to register for the exam then you just go to the website snaptest.org and fill out the form. you can also check application dates and fees of particular colleges which accept snap scores in the website. the duration of this exam is 60 minutes and 60 questions. There is no minus marking in the exam. The level of difficulty compared to the CAT exam is easy.

Symbiosis Pune is best college to be in, but when I prepared for the college I did not score well or I was not able to get the admission over there so I chose SIBM Nagpur, at first I was scared that what will happen or how this college will be but later when I joined the college I was very happy to see the supporting faculty and great course structure.

There are many fest and competiton for the students for the exposure for the college
The sport's facilities are excellent and very up-to date and modern which help our students to stay fit and healthy

We are not allowed to be outside the campus after 12 am I feel should not be applicable for the master's student

How to Apply: Take the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test), typically held in November or December. SIBM-N: An Overview

Admission:

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Nagpur is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune. To take admission for a MBA program at SIBM Nagpur one has to take Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) which is held annualy in the month oh November - December. The application typically starts from August till late October every year. The Eligibility to this program is graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks with degree from a UGC recognised college/ institute. Application Form is available at symbiosis site. Application fees can range from ? 2500 and above. After that ? 1000 per college/ constituent you are applying for. I took the The Reservation benefit of kashmiri migrants category. Two seats are reserved for this category for a MBA program. Upto 3 tests can be given for admission and the best performance attempt will be considered for evaluation. The difficulty level is medium but its a speed based test. So speed and accuracy is important.

Admission:

The basic eligibility criteria to pursue this course is graduation in any field or any branch of study. After that, you need to appear for the SNAP examination which is held every year. Your performance in the SNAP exam will make you eligible for further rounds like GD/PI, WAT process etc. You need to pass 4 to 5 rounds of processes to get admission in SIBM or in any symbiosis college. Caste-based reservations are provided to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students.

I started my Prepartion for CAT in june and then parallely started preparing for SNAP in August. I applied for SNAP by paying 1000rs and book slot 2. Then i seperately applied for SIOM and SIBM Nagpur by paying 500 for each college procedure was quite easy for SNAP

Life at SIBM NAGPUR

The campus here is spreaded over 75 acres with great infrastructure.
The overall college life is average here.

Dislikes

The college is located in outskirts so its very hectic to travel to the main Nagpur city which is minimum 10km away from college

Admission:

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. ST/SC students have reservation in all symbiosis colleges. There are some reservation for kashmiri students also.

Admission:

The SNAP exam is the first step of the admission process. You can easily find its form on their official website or you can find it on any Symbiosis college website also. After the SNAP exam, you get your performance score in the form of percentile. Ones your percentile meets the cutoff marks criteria then you are eligible for further processes like WAT and GD/PI etc.

Summary of An Epic Journey in SIBM Nagpur

Likes

Diversity and inclusion. Being roommates with people from different parts of the country.

Dislikes

Limited scope, less number of fests. More academic oriented.

Admission:

The admission process had three steps- written ability test, group discussion and personal interview having a panel of 2 members. We have to write snap exam to get into any symbiosis institute. The cut off for Sibm Pune is 99 percentile. The snap exam is conducted in the month of December every year, maximum attempts are 3. The marks considered are the best out of the three attempts. The difficulty level is moderate compared to CAT exam. One suggestion is to keep a better vigilance of the written ability test for the admission process
