Course Curriculum Overview

5

I find the curriculum to be aligned with the MBA program's overarching objectives due to its emphasis on practical learning opportunities, alignment with industry trends, and provision of essential data analysis skills. Nonetheless, there are numerous avenues through which the curriculum could be further enriched, such as the incorporation of additional real-world case studies, the integration of up-to-date business datasets, and the introduction of specialized electives focused on various data analysis techniques.

Fees and Financial Aid

Payment for the course is structured into installments, with two due in the first year and two in the second. These charges, inclusive of mess and hostel fees, must be disclosed before the academic year commences. The total course fee amounts to 19 lakhs rupees. To alleviate costs, SIBM Nagpur provides various scholarship opportunities: Merit Scholarships, offering a 20% tuition waiver for academically high-performing students, along with scholarships for semester toppers. Nagpur Domicile Scholarship grants a 15% tuition reduction for Nagpur University graduates residing in Nagpur for at least five years. International Scholarships are also available, with details provided on the website. However, international students may have limited eligibility for undergraduate and graduate scholarships

Campus Life

5

At SIBM Nagpur, campus life thrives with a mix of academics, extracurriculars, and personal development. The annual Symbiosis Spandan Fest in February features cultural performances, competitions, and guest lectures, offering students a chance to unwind and connect. The Arena, held in October, gathers tech and business enthusiasts for simulations, coding challenges, and workshops, fostering networking opportunities. Additionally, student-run associations like the Marketing Club (MarCom) organize guest lectures and industry exchanges to enrich students' experiences.

Admission

Qualifications: Applicants must have graduated from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST categories) on their transcript. Even those completing final exams are eligible, but admission is contingent on meeting the minimum score requirement. How to Apply: Take the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test), typically held in November or December. When applying online for SIBM Nagpur, specify your chosen specialization(s) and pay the application fee. Shortlisted candidates undergo a Personal Interview (PI), Group Exercise (GE), and Writing Ability Test (WAT). Selection Criteria: SNAP scores are weighted differently, and GE/WAT/PI performance determines cut-offs. SNAP cut-offs at SIBM Nagpur may vary but usually range from 120 to 140. Opportunities for Development: The application process may entail

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
