I was not sure wether this field is suitabel to expand my vision towards world but as the college started right from the very first day the college involved us in very interactive activites and subjects are very intresting as well

Internship opportunities are really very good this year almost every student in the batch got placed for Summer internship in their favourite field. also the average package of internship is around 10,000

its been 4 years to college and Placement figures is increasing each year. Students are working very hard to brings lots of good comapnies to college. the average placement we have here is of 10,00,000. some big companies like mercedies, KPIT,KPMG, Career 360 visit college for SIP and FP

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is same for all the students for MBA and for FABM its comparatevily less. for MBA its around 2olac also students can avail scholarship benifits by applying on NSP portal, college is very supportive in this manner, they encourage students apply for various schems

Campus Life

Here we got various sports like Cricket, football badminton, vollyball etc. we also got high tech gym which is open to all students in campus also college organise various tournament in various events as per students liking and evry month we have some activity going on in the campus, so students can actively participate.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is really amazing first i thought how will i adjust myself in the environment but from very first day i got so comfortabel to hostel life of SIBM Nagpur that now i feel like home here. Also the food here provided is of varity each week one cant get bore of seeing same dish in the plate, right from breakfast to dinner we are provided 4 meals

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

Admission

I started my Prepartion for CAT in june and then parallely started preparing for SNAP in August. I applied for SNAP by paying 1000rs and book slot 2. Then i seperately applied for SIOM and SIBM Nagpur by paying 500 for each college procedure was quite easy for SNAP

Interview Experience

Entrance Process for SIBM Nagpur was quite rigorous for GD i have 6 people in my panel and the topic we got for discussion was Role of AI in MBA then following day we had WAT then on next day PI. i Got seniour faculty of SIBM Nagpur they took smoth interview

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

The placement of my college is decent good because as per the fees it will gives us 6lpa as a average package it is good Roi as per my opinion. There are maximum company related to banks and startups and mainly for Marketing roles. My plans for after degree to get placed with good package.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Life at SIBM NAGPUR

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. MY EXPERIENCE AT SIMB NAGPUR

Admission process at my college was very easy and was not weary as admission processes are assumed to be. The Eligibility criteria was as follows: Graduation from any recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and 45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A graduate from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). One has to fill the application form for the course they want to opt for and then register for SNAP, Symbiosis National AptitudeTest. The application fee for SNAP is Rs 1,750 for all programmes. Candidates can pay the application fee online as well as offline. Admission to MBA programme is based on SNAP scores. The candidate must hold a bachelor?s degree in the relevant discipline, to apply for the same.
