Campus is really beautiful, and amazing to be around.
Teachers are very helpful, they guide you right always and support you in all the phases.

Admission:

Symbiosis Pune is best college to be in, but when I prepared for the college I did not score well or I was not able to get the admission over there so I chose SIBM Nagpur, at first I was scared that what will happen or how this college will be but later when I joined the college I was very happy to see the supporting faculty and great course structure.

Likes

The infrastructure of the campus is amazing.
The sport's facilities are excellent and very up-to date and modern which help our students to stay fit and healthy
Technologies which are used to enhance education provides great great experience and helps us to connect with real cases eg Bloomberg and Harvard business study

Dislikes

Sometimes the mess good is not upto the mark
We are not allowed to be outside the campus after 12 am I feel should not be applicable for the master's student
More live project should be integrated in the course curriculum

Even those completing final exams are eligible, but admission is contingent on meeting the minimum score requirement. How to Apply: Take the SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test), typically held in November or December. Cracking SiBM nagpur

Likes

Ambience is extra ordinary with so much beauty at the campus
Cultural practices are very nice with belongingness to every religion
Teaching style is extra good with indepth study of every subject

Dislikes

Mess food is worst there are days when you really cannot eat the food
Transportation facilities are less as it is on the outskirts
There is not too much availibility of stores on the campus

Inside Sibm- The journey towards growth

Likes

Campus is very beautiful inside and outside with various people waiting outside the campus for taking
We have various facilities available at the hostel room right from AC to clean rooms
There is a newly made cricket ground on the campus on Sunday boy's enjoy playing at the ground

Dislikes

There are too many guests lectures sometimes it get boring to attend them
There is no flexible leave system in the college which is kind of depressing for the students

Admission:

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Nagpur is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune. To take admission for a MBA program at SIBM Nagpur one has to take Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) which is held annualy in the month oh November - December. The application typically starts from August till late October every year. The Eligibility to this program is graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks with degree from a UGC recognised college/ institute. Application Form is available at symbiosis site. Application fees can range from ? 2500 and above. After that ? 1000 per college/ constituent you are applying for. I took the The Reservation benefit of kashmiri migrants category. Two seats are reserved for this category for a MBA program. Upto 3 tests can be given for admission and the best performance attempt will be considered for evaluation. The difficulty level is medium but its a speed based test. So speed and accuracy is important.

Campus infrastructure: from gym, sports ground to all kinds of indoor games
Stationery, groceries, canteen etc. all kinds of essential emenities are available here
Lots of student interest groups which creates lots of fun events and activities

Dislikes

Placement package: ROI is not even 50%, need to improve more
Mess food is pathetic. as they charge 55000/semester still the food is not upto the mark
Teaching style of faculties are needed to be change

Admission:

The basic eligibility criteria to pursue this course is graduation in any field or any branch of study. After that, you need to appear for the SNAP examination which is held every year. Your performance in the SNAP exam will make you eligible for further rounds like GD/PI, WAT process etc. You need to pass 4 to 5 rounds of processes to get admission in SIBM or in any symbiosis college. Caste-based reservations are provided to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe students.

Reality of SIBM Nagpur

Likes

Placement is quite good here also the opportunity provided is good
Culture is really amazing in the SIBM Nagpur
Faculties are very helpful towards the students

Dislikes

mess food can be improved more in taste and quality
Class timing can be cut short and focused more on practical
Gate timing can be pushed little more its very early

Admission:

I started my Prepartion for CAT in june and then parallely started preparing for SNAP in August. I applied for SNAP by paying 1000rs and book slot 2. Then i seperately applied for SIOM and SIBM Nagpur by paying 500 for each college procedure was quite easy for SNAP

Life at SIBM NAGPUR

Likes

The campus here is spreaded over 75 acres with great infrastructure.
The faculty here is supportive and guide the students in need.
The overall college life is average here.

Dislikes

The placements here is not satisfactory or very much less.
The fees they charge here is overrated as they do no provide good placements here.
The college is located in outskirts so its very hectic to travel to the main Nagpur city which is minimum 10km away from college

Admission:

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. ST/SC students have reservation in all symbiosis colleges. There are some reservation for kashmiri students also.

Analysis of SIBM Nagpur

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our campus. It's very beautiful .
Some of faculties here are very helpful in their subject.
Visiting faculty is also good and knowledgeable as well.

Dislikes

Management level of sibm nagpur management is very poor.
Mess food is very bad and some other facilities are also not so good.
Teaching method is also poor. Here is no room for any practical knowledge.

Admission:

The SNAP exam is the first step of the admission process. You can easily find its form on their official website or you can find it on any Symbiosis college website also. After the SNAP exam, you get your performance score in the form of percentile. Ones your percentile meets the cutoff marks criteria then you are eligible for further processes like WAT and GD/PI etc.

Summary of An Epic Journey in SIBM Nagpur

Likes

Infrastructure, Mess food, facilities, hostel life
Placement, faculty members are kind, and can reach out to them.
Diversity and inclusion. Being roommates with people from different parts of the country.

Dislikes

Limited scope, less number of fests. More academic oriented.

Admission:

The admission process had three steps- written ability test, group discussion and personal interview having a panel of 2 members. We have to write snap exam to get into any symbiosis institute. The cut off for Sibm Pune is 99 percentile. The snap exam is conducted in the month of December every year, maximum attempts are 3. The marks considered are the best out of the three attempts. The difficulty level is moderate compared to CAT exam. One suggestion is to keep a better vigilance of the written ability test for the admission process
