The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 18000 per semester

For NRI Category:-
The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 15000 per semester. Not applicable to foreign national students who are permitted to avail Institute’s International hostel.
Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.
Break up of extra charges:- INR 26500 (Mess charges, which may change depending on the price of food items in the future) and INR 21661 (Hostel seat rent)

As of now per semester the fee is 1,24,400 comprising hostel and mess fee. It has increased with time as well. An year contains 2 semesters. 1,00,000 is the tuition fee. 18,000 is the mess fee. 8,400 is miscellaneous fee. The tuition fee is waived for reservation candidates.
Likes
- Campus life is good and the support you get from seniors and batchmates is amazing.
- Placement is good as comparing to other colleges .
Dislikes
- The world outside the college i.e. Dhanbad is not so great.
- The faculties are not so supportive in when it comes to your attendance.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees is little high but for financialy weak students the college provide fee wavier. It has two slabs below 1 lakh no fees, above one lakh and less than 5 lakhs you have to pay only 33%of the total fees. You also got many types of scholarship like Mcm.

-> There is no such policy, the fee is decided according to other IIT's. -> The complete cost of education is around 2.5 lakhs for a year . -> There is fee waiver for economically weaker sections and there are several other scholorships which are funded by government and private . -> I am in third year , so i have no experience in jobs , but i know it is very well which is said by my alumni.

We will be having fee upto 2 lakhs per year and we will be getting alot of scholarship based on income certificate and reservation and also merit list. We will be paying more to hostel rather than college feees. We will be doing different task in every program which occurs. And we will be participating in cocurricum activities also.

- The main attraction of our campus is G20 which is also called heritage building.
- We have a innovation hub building i2h which is a place for innovation ideas.
Dislikes
- In our campus the lover spots are quite scenes.
- The food maintenance in our is not as good as we want.

I am an OBC student and due to this I couldn't have any reservation or scholarship on my studies.I am paying a sum of 1,36,000/- for each semester.I couldn't have any scholarship but remaining SC/ST have multiple chaances for scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure of the college is like a bit higher fee for income more than 5 lakhs students and for reservation students there is no tution fee. The cost of education is not too much compared to other private colleges. Even personal expenses are not much. There are many scholarshios available for students like nsp,opening rank scholarship etc... The campus placements are good as it is an iit and stipend is also very well.

- I am sports man and like the sports facility here.
- I like the professors here and the laboratory that is here.
Dislikes
- Seventy five percent attendance criterion
- Mess food is okok and we get bored after some time.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees is simple. Initially per semester we need to pay 1.3lakh rupeese along with the mess fee and the hostel fees. Since my family coudnt afford so much I have opted the option of loan. This fee structure is same throughout the 4 year course of mine.

- Placements are great and various companies come
Dislikes
- Some companies do not come here lile quant
- Old lecture hall complex is very old and not good

Fees hike policy is not good as although we are in the government college we still have to pay Rs1 lakh and more, so i disagree with. My internship is not started but i thing i will be placed so its good
Likes
- The best part about our college is fests
- Grounds are nice hostels are nice weather is nice
Dislikes
- Campus is really small and it is too hot in summer
- Internal bus facility is not there too much distance to walk

The fee is 1 lakh per semester and hostel fees are included in the fee structure and candidates with reservation and annual income less than 8 lakhs per annum can have a 33 percent fee waiver and less than 1 lakhs per annum can have a full waiver.

- The oval garden in front of heritage is beautiful all year

- The senior junior relationship in the college
- Regional gang wars among the students of the college

The fee structure is very good compared to other colleges in India. And a decent amount of scholarships are provided to assist the student financially. Campus jobs are very good and a percentage of students are placed every year.
