The main attraction of our campus is G20 which is also called heritage building.
We have a innovation hub building i2h which is a place for innovation ideas.
We have a large auditorium pen man auditorium where maximum events are held.

Dislikes

In our campus the lover spots are quite scenes.
The food maintenance in our is not as good as we want.
In our campus some people show discrimination on religion.

I choose this course since this course having highest package benefits and internship opportunities are better.I learnt computing in the Year 2 and now I can understand every coding easy due to the coding learnt from my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am an OBC student and due to this I couldn't have any reservation or scholarship on my studies.I am paying a sum of 1,36,000/- for each semester.I couldn't have any scholarship but remaining SC/ST have multiple chaances for scholarships.

Campus Life

Srijan in Feburary, concetto in December, parakram in March,khanan in September this are some main fests in our college. Parakram a sport fest which is quite active in our college and concetto a tech fest which is mainly hekd by Telugu community in our college.and our college has many clubs and groups which are called as official club of IIT ISM.

Admission

The admission process was quite busy but marvelous.I got seat in integrated master of technology in mathematics and computing. The necessary documents and physical registration is found so easy and I didn't have any reservation. Theor should be some improvement in physical registration since it takes long time.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

We had very little companies for placement ibm and hcl came for bpo jobs.. About 80% left with no jobs after completing the session... Very poor placement opportunities. After completing the jobs most of us went to banglore for searching jobs... We had placement if any after completing 8 semesters We had ibm and hcl but they asked for donations before giving jobs. Packages were 3.6 Lakh to 5 Lakh per year. Overall 20% got placement. I prepared for Government exams after completing my degree.

LIFE IN NIT JAMSHEDPUR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this was the branch I was getting through my JEE score. Faculty student ratio is 3:100. All the professors here are highly qualified and had phd from top colleges of the worl. There research has been published by many publications ,many of them had written books and got published . there researchs are famous world wide . The teaching method of professor is very good they explain the topics upto which it is necessary to be known. Exams here are held timely ,2 semesters per year and the level of question paper is moderate.

Must Read before coming to IIT ISM Dhanbad

I had secured AIR 5860 in JEE Advanced, so i had applied for all CSE, ECE, ELECTRICAL, MNC and related branches in Top IITs. For my rank, I got IIT ISM Dhanbad in the last round. I had also got IIT Kharagpur Manufacturing Science, but I choosed to go for furture rounds as i thought doing a circuit branch in IITs is better. I could not make it to colleges that i wanted to as my rank was 5860 and belonging to the GENERAL category, the rank is too high to get into top branches of the top 7 IITS. The admission process is JEE Advanced, Elgibility is that u need to have good rank in JEE Advanced, the rank required varies from branch to branch but i can give you and idea, for our IIT ISM, CSE -> 2000 to 3500, MNC -> 3500 to 4500 , ECE -> 4500 to 6000 and so on....Read More
