Placements of IIT Dhanbad is very good. We get opportunity for both core and IT sector jobs . Average package of the college is about 15 lakh and average package of ece is about 25 lakh and highest package was 66lpa . Companies like google, microsoft, Jaguar flipkart , meta ,NVIDEA comes for on campus placement

Fee of one year is 100000 approximately as I am from SC category I do not have to pay tution fees I paid 54 thousand for first semester and 44 thousand for second semester . One who is from General category has to pay turion fees which is 1lakh per semester.

Concetto is the anual technical fest of IIT ISM Dhanbad and Srijan is the annual cultural fest of IIT ISM Dhanbad. Their are enough books in library we can borrow book for 1 month. Classroom are little bit small and the capacity od classroom is 144 students. Taking about sports activities we can participate in inter IIT and their is one annual sports meet also

In first year you will not get a good hostel. We get small room with double sharing but in second and third year you get big rooms with double sharing and in final year you get single room although food in hostel in not so good . Hostel and mess fees is 36000 per year

My category rank in jee advanced was 1182 so I am getting top IIT like Bombay and delhi but with lower branch and I want to opt branch like cse and ece so I fill the councelling list accordingly and I get IIT ISM Dhanbad. In starting I don't feel that IIT dhanbad is good IIT but when I entered I feel different. I like the campus very much and I realised the brand value of ISM it is almost about to complete 100 years

Our college has very experienced faculty members but some of our professors don't care about students they just come give lecture, they do not make any interaction with However many of the professor interac with students and guide them

As IIT Dhanbad is located near wasseypur so it is risky to go outside the campus at night that's why their are strict timings like you have to enter inside the main hate before 10 pm and Inside the hostel before 12 Am .Their are outlet of Domino's. Mehzbaan, Barista inside the campus and it is inside the campus so it is safe to hangout
