About UCET
University College of Engineering and Technology (UCET) is situated in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand and was established in the year 2009. It is directly managed by Vinoba Bhave University and is approved by AICTE.
The college has its own campus, workshops, laboratories and classrooms. The college offers four courses in the graduate engineering disciplines.
UCEP has a separate training and placement cell. The placement cell has a conference room and other separate rooms for the interviews. The placement cell collaborates with well established organizations for internship and training programs.

The college offers four courses in the graduate engineering disciplines. The college possesses B.Tech Lateral Entry as well as B Tech entry. UCET Jharkhand: Admission
The admission in the B.Tech. in University College of Engineering and Technology can be taken on the basis of merit obtained in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, JCECE.The eligibility for appearing for JCECE is 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized institute.
How to Apply?
- After visiting the home page of JCECE, Click on “All online application submission JCECE 2021”.This would redirect you to a new page.
- On the new page a list of various examinations would appear. You need to click on JCECE 2021 and then opt for registration of new users.
- Now fill in all the details asked for including Aadhar number and examination city.
- Now submit it. After the submission your login id and password would be revealed.
- After creation of the login id, fill in the educational details after logging in.
- This will be followed by uploading the documents. You need to upload your signature, left thumb impression (10 KB to 30 KB) and a recent passport size photograph (15 KB to 100KB).
- After uploading the documents you can submit and then proceed for paying the payment fees.
- The fee would be INR900 for general category and INR 450 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Female Candidates.
- You can use your credentials for logging in again.

- Well Equipped Laboratories-There are varied laboratories available for varied subjects like laboratories of Electronics, Computer, Engineering Drawing, Mechanical Engineering, Physics etc.
- Central Library-Library has more than 10000 books and subscription to famous journals for the students.
- Separate building for workshops-For providing practical knowledge to the engineering students a separate building has been made for the workshops which is equipped with machines and a generator.
- Computer center-Well equipped computer center has configured computers and internet connectivity too.
- Digital campus-The campus possesses Wi-Fi making the entire campus digital.

Ques. Can students from other parts of India take admission in University college of Technology and Engineering, Jharkhand?
Ans. It is mandatory to be in the merit list of JCECE, Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination for being eligible for the admission. Students possessing domicile of Jharkhand are only eligible to take JCECE. Therefore, students not having the domicile of Jharkhand won’t fall into the eligibility criteria.

- Building of the college is not so big. It's just 2 floor building

It's a government college. Admissions can be done by JCECEB and JEE MAINS also lateral entry is available. there are only 3 govt colleges in Jharkhand UCET is one of them and it's comparitively good in comparison of semi govt and private colleges

- Campus is really good. From the beginning when one enters the lush greenery welcomes sequenced by a beautiful cooling large pond full of blue water giving a sense of relaxation. There are a lot of parks like naming vinodini park and a lot.
- There's a guest stay apartment which is not less than any five star. There's seminar halls with all required facilities.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are a feild which needs to be looked in
- Need More organizations of fests and intercative sessions

The eligibility requirements are- 60% above in the 12th examination and you must have appeared in the examination of JEE or JCECE. Those scores will decide your admission and further your branch. The admission occurs through the counseling process and obviously during admission, you have to pay an amount as admission fee. Yes, obviously reservation is there in terms of no. Of seats in different branches.

No there is no reservation benefits. The application date remains between September and October. The timing of exam is in 6 months . And the exam is not the tough exam to avail. You need to have passed 12th with 50% or more and then appear for JCECEB test to get admission.
The first-year fee for the engineering courses (Freshers as well as lateral entries) is INR 65,100.
