Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been developed in a way that it caters both research (academic) & Industry readiness, with thorogh theoritical understanding of courses from Phuilosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Literature, with its implication in Digital Sphere. Faculties here are expert in their field and approachable . this course ahs helped me develop and helping me pursue my acadmeic pursuit. Here the exam is quite moderate but due to relative grading it is becomes frustating sometimes
Fees and Financial Aid
At IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Semester wise fees is charged. For 1st Sem (General) fees: 57850 (inclusive of 39850/- (Tution Fees) + 18000/- (Hostel). Similarly Hostel fees is charged 18000/- inclusive of Mess, Wifi, Accomodation, etc.
Campus Life
Campus life is good, and specially the festivals and fest, such Durga Pooja and Srijan fest, etc. The best part is the Library here, which I liked the most and has huge capacity and century old books preseved.
Hostel Facilities
Institute mandates for opting of hostel accomodation, but poor part is the mess food, which needs improvements. It is best on Special dinner nights, with huge range of food menu and good quality food is provided. I am resideing in Sapphire hostel, which is mainly for 2nd year seniors.
Admission
Considering my engineering backround, and my interest in social sciences, made me choose this course, which I don't regret. I chose this over my offer from IIT Mandi, in MA Development Studies, as this field is very new in india and has huge potential to be researched upon. Admission process: Written test + Personal Interview
