- Our college has great infrastructure including hostels, Lecture Halls, Innovation Cell.
- Our College has an innovation cell, named NVCTI, where any student can go and work on their innovative and entrepreneurial ideas.
Dislikes
- It's location is one of its drawback as it is located in Coal City of India, so you can't find very good places nearby.
- Even though our Professors are well educated and qualified but they don't know how to teach.
- The cirriculum is very strict with 75% compulsory attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our Curriculum includes both theoretical and practical knowledge. We have Theory classes of 5 subjects and 2 lab practicals every week. Practicals are not that great in terms of learning something new as there are more students than equipment.
Internships Opportunities
Our internship offerings in our college is decent, with 30-40% internship record each year. Diffferent companies which offer internships include Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Goldman Sachs, Tatal Steel, Bajaj, ICICI bank, Baker Hughes and many more. The stripend varies from 1.5 lakhs per month to 30k per month.
Placement Experience
Our college has a good placement record with 70-80% placement. Our college's average placement salary is 18 lpa, highest package oncampus is 66 lpa and highest package offcamous can go upto 1 crore.Top recruiters in our college are Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Goldman Sacs, Amazon, PhonePe, Tata steel, Vedanta, Bajaj, Baker Hughes, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly tution fees is Rs 2 lakhs and other fees which includes hostel, mess, etc is Rs 36,000 for even semester and Rs 26,000 for odd semester. So overall fees for a year is Rs 2,62,000. There is provision for fee waiver. Students whose family income is less than 1 lakhs get 100% fee waiver and students whose family income is less than 5 lakhs get 67% fee waiver.
Campus Life
We have 4 fests each year, East India's largest socio-cultural fests named Srijan, tech fest Concetto, sports fests Parakram and mining fests named Khanan. Our college have a good number of clubs like dancing, singing, writing, acting, public speaking, and many more. Our college have great sports and extracurricular opportunities including badminton, basket ball, cricket, weight lifting, boxing, gym, etc.
Hostel Facilities
We have a plenty of hostels for the students of different courses. Hostels for girls and boys are different and other gender is not allowed in their respective hostels. Our hostels are two seater and is enabled with high speed unlimited wifi and lan. Each hostel has its own mess with decent food quality.
Admission
I have qualified JEE Mains and JEE Advanced with 10k rank. I got this college on the basis of my JEE Advanced rank. I choose mechanical engineering branch because of my interest in this field. Students can get admission in my college in many fields like b.tech through JEE Advanced, m.tech through Gate, phds, msc, mba, etc.
Faculty
In our mechanical brach there are quite a good number of faculty, with great academic and industrial experiance. In our brach total 120 students are there. There are two main exams in each semester with some quizzes before and after midesms. One Mid Semester exam with 30% weightage and one End Smester exam with 50% weightage and Quizzes comprises 20% weightage.
Night Life
We have two gyms, one for boys and other for girls. We have Asia's one the largest library. Our campus is a closed campus and you can find gurads and securities everwhere. Our hostel timing is 12 midnight, and the main gate of campus closes at 10 in the night. Night life is safe is our campus both for boys and girls.
