For NRI Category:-
The students will be required to pay additional mess charges of Rs 15000 per semester. Not applicable to foreign national students who are permitted to avail Institute’s International hostel.
Foreign National Students desirous of availing of elevated accommodation and dining facilities at the Institute’s International Hostel need to pay an extra INR 47261 per semester including the total semester fees in odd and even semester. For availing International Hostel, the students are required to put forward their request which may be considered case-to-case basis, depending on the availability and as per Institute norms.
Break up of extra charges:- INR 26500 (Mess charges, which may change depending on the price of food items in the future) and INR 21661 (Hostel seat rent)

The tution fee has remained stable for some years. There is a tuition fee waiver and scholarships provided by the administration based on the grades and financial conditions. Reserved quotas also receive tuition fee waivers. Educational expenses per semester are about 1.5 lacs, which includes 1 lac of tuition fee. There is a complete and partial tuition fee waiver for students. The institution also provides multiple scholarship opportunities for students.

- Teaching system is very good and faculty is great

- The weather here is extremely cold or extremely hot
- I wish there were air conditioning in lecture hall

Fee structure is printed upon a semester. And it depends on either monsoon or winter semester. However tuition fees constitutes more of 100000.and mess fees of 18000 and hostel fees is not there for us in IIT s. The complete cost per semester would be around 130000 approximately... there are numerous scholarships which eligible students can apply.But unfortunately I am not eligible for any kind of scholarships. But my friends applied for Reliance, Kotak Kenya, and mms and some others. We also have fee waiver in our college. We are the students in the college

- Hostels conditions can be improved by the colledge.
- Mess food is not that good it can be improved by the college.

Scholarships are given but they consist so many restrictions. While the placements in campus are excellent and this college bring so many opportunities and it is worth joining this college. Just the thing is I find the being a government college fess are little more.

The Tution fees of our college is 100000. But it not applicable for reserved students.Also for non reserved students if their annual income is less then they get some scholarship.The complete course of 4 years will go around 12 lakhs. Scholarships are provided like MCM scholarship, NSP scholarship,SDSF Scholarship etc. Students can also earn as companies like teachnooks search for campus ambassador where u can get a stipend of 21000. You can also works in project offered by college and get stipend.

The semester fee for general category student is 130000. there is an option for few waiver for ews and obc students giving 33 percentage and 66 percentage reduction based on family income.sc and st students has to pay hostel fees only

- I didn't like the food much. Because the food here is not so spicy.
- I didn't like the ragging here done by the seniors.

Fees structure was designed according to the parents income. Below 1 lakh income, the tution fees is 0, we need to pay only the hostel fee for each and every semester. Above 1 lakh and below 5 lakhs tution fees is 33%. Merit cum means is the scholarship of the college.

IIT Dhanbad is best for pursuing mechanical engineering. It provides students with top-notch academic resources and amenities. Additionally, the placements are fairly decent. Every year, between 70 and 80 percent of students in the mechanical stream get placed. The former is better IIT Dhanbad was established in 1926 whereas IIT Jodhpur came in 2008. In terms of placement, faculty, ranking, and academic excellence IIT Dhanbad stays in the upper hand for pursuing mechanical engineering than IIT Jodhpur. The reasons for choosing IIT Dhanbad are as follows:

How is IIT Bhubaneswar mechanical as compared to other new IITs opened in 2008 and IIT Dhanbad?
IIT Bhubaneswar is a new IIT and was established in the year 2008. On the other hand, IIT Dhanbad is an old IIT. Being an old IIT, the academic curriculum and academic flexibility are more functional at IIT Dhanbad than any other new IIT.
Many of my friends have passed out from IIT Dhanbad who were highly satisfied with their placement considering their JEE advance ranks. In the placement drive 2020, the highest package offered to the mechanical branch at IIT Dhanbad was INR 17 lakhs per annum.
Changing your branch is comparatively easier at IIT Dhanbad. So, even if you are compromising on your branch of choice, you can get it altered to your choice once you join in.
