I chose MA in criminology because I want to work with NGOs. The curriculum prepares students for internship programs in police departments. The areas of improvement should be there would be many placement should be there in our college. The exam level is moderate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees for our course are increasing per year. The complete cost of an MA in criminology is 42000. There is also a scholarship known as the Ekalyan scholarship. Campus placement is there in our college.

Campus Life

There are many festivals held in our college like Saraswati puja. There is also a college fest on our campus. There is also a big library in our college which has lots of wide variety of books. There is a smart board in our college. There are also dance clubs on our campus.

Admission

The eligibility of MA in criminology is graduation in any degree. The application form can be found from Jharkhand raksha Shakti University website. The exam level is moderate. The areas of improvement in our college are the teachers should complete the syllabus before exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• I have done BA in psychology that's why I always wanted continue my further studies in the same field that's I choose this course . • The curriculum prepares you for real world applications but it depends on the person how they understanding the whole course and practically implementing the teachings in the real world. • I think the area for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods is teachers should provide group discussion and apply games which help the to try their practical knowledge. • In the whole year only two exams are taken by University and these are internal and external exam and the level is very easy means we can easily prepare for it in weeks .

A glimpse of my college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Whatever that is prescribed in our syllabus, I believe is very relevant with what we need to learn. If somebody gets on the teaching line, these topics are very important for them to have a basic knowledge of that particular subject. The teachers don't actively focus on completing the syllabus, which in turn becomes a burden for the students. They need to be serious because its a matter of a childs life. The final examination has a duration of three hours and the class test has a duration of sixty minutes. The question aren't that difficulty. One who has paid attention to the lectures will for sure pass in the examination. But someone who does not know anything about the topic will mostly like to fail.

Nice Infrastructure with very Less Fees

Placement Experience:

Students from sem 3 become eligible for campus placements but only few ( 2-3 in a year ) companies comes for conducting placement drives, Companies like Bajaj Allianz , Tata Consultancy Services.. etc. comes here for giving placement but there package is not more than 3.5 lakhs / year. Average package offered is 2.5 - 3 lakhs per annum. Almost 5 percent students got placed After getting this masters degree I will do phd in the same subject

Bigger with smaller.

Firstly i have filled the form offline through gmail process and by giving cuet and after that the provisional merit list came out and i went to college. After that a small interview was taken and till evening the admission process was completed who passed in the interview and final merit list was declared. Application fees was 450. There should be some improvements in admission process of the notifications we do not get notifications soon as the site is not being operated properly regularly....Read More
