For other reserved categories, the yearly fees is just INR 2000/- You may deifnitely get scholarhsips on BA level for reserved category candidates.
Campus Life
There are various events held annually, such as Sports Day, Sawan Fest, Nutrition Fest, and course based programs for Fashion Designing and others vocational courses. We have 2 libraries, separately for Arts and Science streams. The collection of books, journals, magazines, and our faculty published books are always in queue there. We are also provided with free wifi and computer facility.
Admission
This is one of the renowned government colleges in Ranchi and students from different districts come to take admission here. The faculty teacher ratio is also very good and the faculty quality too is great. Thus I was inclined towards taking admission here.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio for the Bachelor's degree was 100:5. We had mentors assigned for any personal or social issues if any. Since it is an all women's college, the teacher student bond is more close and friendly. During my BA and MA courses, my best experience was with Dr Supriya madam. She has been a great mentor and guide for both academic and personal issues. The faculties are readily approachable and easy to commute. For exams, we have 2 mock tests a year and 1 semester exam. The questions are of moderate to difficult level. No students failed the MA course, while a few had a back semester in the BA course.
Night Life
Yes, we do have a gym, cafeteria, library in the college campus. The gym is worth INR 25/- for everyone equipped with every sort of machines. Th college also has multiple hostels based on different fees and facilities. Just outside the college campus, we have a hoard of local stationary and accessories shops with fast food centres. The hostel gate closing timing is 6:00 PM. The college is located in the centre of the town, thus there are several hangouts places, such as parks, complexes, and game zones as well.
