IIT Dhanbad 2025 Placement Records 350 Offers, CSE Students Land ₹80 LPA; Check Complete Report Here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dhanbad has started its 2025 placement season on a strong note. Four students from the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch have received job offers worth ₹80 lakh per annum, the highest package of the season so far.

The placement drive began on December 1, and within the first 11 days, the institute recorded over 350 campus placements, showing high interest from top recruiting companies.

Along with campus placements, the IIT Dhanbad has also received more than 200 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Including these PPOs, over 550 students have already been placed, and the number is expected to cross 600 as Phase 1 continues.

IIT Dhanbad Placement 2025 Diversity-Wise

The institute also released a detailed diversity report for 2025 placements. Out of 1,072 placed students:

231 were female students, 841 were male students.

This shows strong participation and placement across both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The 2025 placement year recorded a total of 1,072 placed students out of 1,335 actively participating students, giving IIT Dhanbad an overall placement rate of 80.30%.

These numbers show that most departments performed strongly, with several achieving placement rates above 85%.
