My faculty is surrounded by hills the scenic beauty is mesmerizing
The faculty is very supportive and the studies are good
Laboratory needs improvement like practical are less and less

Dislikes

College is theory focused and practicals are less
Facilities are not available and sports week are not paid attention to
Toxic environment between people is created and nothing is done between them

Likes

The view and environment are really good for study along with faculty
Teachers and professors are highly knowledgeable
Staff and other members of the faculty are very understanding and polite

Dislikes

Its far from home so travelling is little bit hectic
Hostel is there but you have to be use to it otherwise you will only miss you family

As we know the agriculture is the backbone of the country so i selected this course seeing the wide scope of this couse Only if there are more practical based systems are there then it will pe a huge improvement Otherwise the exams are bsed on theoretical plus practical bsed so it gives a wide spectrum of education

The environment and the beautiful campus is really adorable!
Accommodation and natural view of the campus
The university is located at a good distance from city

Dislikes

The faculty is very arrogant and egoistic!
Administrative work is very poor and slow!
Hostel faculties are not available for all the students

A lot of course work is probably hectic that is in curriculum of SKUAST kashmir. Practical information and work is very limited in this institution leaving the students frustrated with hectic schedules of course work

Excursion to faculty of fisheries Kashmir

The environment of the university is healthy and supportive with well facilitated class and staff . Everyone here are very helpful and friendly they are reliable and are always there for you no matter what.
The students in tuis university are from different parts of India as well as out of India so there is a lot of cultural diversity and we are able to meet the students from different traditions and values and learn their cultures .
The university has several colleges which are at different beautiful locations with proper lab facilities and we get to take courses from different colleges and get to be learn new things about the desired courses .

Dislikes

The transportation facilities is poor and the campus is huge you have to go from one end to another all by yourself and it is very difficult to do so . A bus is provided that too is only once you have to get up early to get into that bus .
The college has a very big library but the seating is not proper . It is not on the basis of the number of people and is a little improperly organized . It is very difficult to find a seat in the library.
There are lack of functions in this university and the functions for the college of fisheries once in 1 year it is not helping anywhere because everyone needs to have a lil detoxification phase and have a lil break from the hectic schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things which influenced me to take this course are the career opportunities outside of India and the ongrowing field which was very fascinating and my field of interest always lied withing the subjects included inside this course.

The weather here is unpredictable, the one who's sensitive should be careful
The one who comes from a distant like it's in Northern parts

My aspects of the curriculum to choose this course is it studies about life science and it's an important resources "fish" which we have to include in our daily inclusion of diet According to further academic pursuits we can apply for the post like a teaching professor, researchers, scientist, etc In improving we need highly level or clear foundation from Bachelor degree which did the studies from Fisheries background Frequency of exam is twice a semester and four times the quiz per semester

The most thing I liked in this collage is that all the curriculum are also maintained other than studies
Teachers and proffesers are most friendly and other friendly environment
All the practicals are greatly appreciated and explained in a great way

Minimum infrastructure and other requirements
Here is the deficiency of hostel and outsider students have to take room outside the campus
The distance of accedemic department is very far from the gate of campus

Skuast kashmir - a beutyful campus of agriculture university

Campus location of sher e kashmir university of agricultural science and technology in shalimar is very beautyful , gives a energytic night.
Provided bus facilities in skaust campus or for visting any programm organised by j&k goverment .
The professor and staff of this university is very good and understanding.

Nothing to say , because every thing is approx good in my view

Placement Experience:

The placement proces of skuast k campus is might be low in all over the india comparision to other university but more chance and oppoturtine to get placement in kasmir region , With high paying salary and respected jobs in agriculture and allied sector

Good teaching staff. All are PHD scholars
We got a good park. Nice building. Good environment around the faculty

There is only one bus available in our faculty
We dont have a playground. We want a playground

Review for the Skaust K faculty of fisheries

We have a opportunity to have a research work in outside ICAR institute
Education was very good and practical skills were improved and more over we can able to study the cold water fisheries

Dislikes

Travel expenses were quite high but no worries about that because u will get a scholarship from ICAR
In summer i couldn't tolerate the heat exposure...the major problem is power cut

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement at 8th semester The private company like CP, shenglong, processing company and lot of hatcheries offeres a placement calls The highest package is depend upon the experience of the person may be around 2lakhs and low package is around 20000 The maximum percentage of person should be around 8 for 10 would possible for selection for placement My plans after completing the degree either pursuing a Phd in foreign or doing research work in any institution

The first thing i liked about my university is that it is more student oriented rather than putting unnecessary pressure on students
It provides the best available technologies in the classrooms, this includes smart boards, projectors etc.
It also provides opportunities to the students for the international training programs, which is beneficial for the overall development and gaining exposure of the international places and universities

Dislikes

Location of my collage is difficult to access through public transport
Non availability of basic necessities such as wifi and clean drinking water in the hostel
Less staff availability, the number of staff is less than the required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The forestry course itself is a unique course as it involves a major part that includes the practical stuff. The practicals aspect of this course attracts a lot of nature enthusiasts students. The curriculum helps a student for a a variety of tasks if he or she is from agricultural background. This curriculum should have some more importance to the upcoming technology such as AI. We have two exams and two classroom quizzes for each semester after every three months we have either end term or our mid terms.
