Review for the Skaust K faculty of fisheries

Actually i dont know about fisheries..But i need to pursue a degree with a different subject..and i have a idea about aquaculture then i got this and finally pursuing this course The curriculum prepares me to have a sustainable aquaculture farming related areas . The fish or shrimp farm are a golden egg laying duck areas..if we become a well learned side in this we are the top producing fish or shrimp farmers For improvement we need to work on any farm to have a practical exposure because teaching only teach the book knowledge but practical teach the experience in field and we have a opportunity to do our research in Any ICAR government institutions to better production The exam timings are 2 semester exams and totally for masters 4 semesters last 2 sem were for doing research work

The internship we should apply for it when we will apply for any they will definitely take as and we can do the Research on that field it self and they will conduct lot of workshop for quality improving and sometime they bring for scientists for the class and they will explain about the excellence in their field The project i will do on 3rd sem ..If the professor taken any project from central government they will definitely add as in that project with a salary of 30k around

Students are eligible for campus placement at 8th semester The private company like CP, shenglong, processing company and lot of hatcheries offeres a placement calls The highest package is depend upon the experience of the person may be around 2lakhs and low package is around 20000 The maximum percentage of person should be around 8 for 10 would possible for selection for placement My plans after completing the degree either pursuing a Phd in foreign or doing research work in any institution

Tution fees were different for categories for OBC it will be 16700 per semester and hostel 8000 per semester it will different in semesters as we have a exam fees and we will write only in 2 sem so last 2 sem we will have around 11000 as a fees The complete cost of our education is around 2lakh including tution, hostel, food and travel charges The scholarship we were funded as ICAR fellowship and we can apply for state category fellowship I dind know about the job roles as my aim to do a better research work in different area ...

Since you joined in master degree should forget about the functions as the main goal is only research for bfsc it porvide lot of functions like Irtica , etc .. The library which contains lot of indian or foreign authors books as we have access for lot of journals so we can get a lot of research papers The class room is fitted with smartclass facilities and clg will run as a backup generator when no power The sports day on july and ECA are available on university There is no NSS or Scout group

The room we have 2 light , 1 fan, 1 charged bulb, and 3 plugpoints during winter we have to buy room heater The meal is quite low .. Registration can be done at only clg or university No i dont about that rented room or pg hostel

Eligiblity of the course is to do biomaths or pure science in 12th standards and cut off around 190 /200 will Eligible for BFSC We can find the application in the state fisheries university website after the 12th results Reservation is only available as a category seat vaccancy for sc or st the cut off value will be low For BfSC 8 semesters .last 2 semester no exam as we have to do EXPERIENCE LEARNING PROGRAMME The coastal region students are have a good knowledge about fisheries so they can apply for it

Faculty to students ratio nearly 1: 1 to 1:2 , the teachers were experience teachers they were pursuing the PHD in abroad and more over their teaching skills were too good . The major language of teaching is English and Hindi . We can approach the teachers as a friendly but during the research they were to tough to speak ..when work came they became a strict staff
