IIT Gandhinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are decent at this college with about 70-80 per cent of students landing to job offers, the average salary is 16 LPA and the highest is around 60. industry leaders like google, and Microsoft visit the campus.

Right from the first month into your last year of academic, you will come across placements from many companies. There will be many companies like Amazon Google etc will be coming to hire you but keep in mind you need to be prepared hard for those interviews and exams. The highest package of the college is around 45 lakhs.

Campus placements occur every other and the batches which were available appeared in the placement. Many organisations, such as Enphase, Google, JSW, ITC, and others, come to campus for seminars and postings. Professors from worldwide institutes such as , University of Washington, and others visit our campus to provide research internships to us where starting of the salary was 15 LPA.

The college maintains a record of 100% placement. The college provides us with very good placement packages it feels like we are getting rewards for the hard work that we have done throughout the tenure. The college's highest placement offer is around 50 LPA and the average salary offer is around 20 LPA. Adobe, Ericsson, Essar, Siemens, Tech Mahindra, Aurion, GlobalLogic, Zia Semiconductor, Cipla, Henkel, NewGen are some of the companies that visited the college campus.

We should not doubt the placement offers of the college. The market leader's companies visit the college campus during the college placement drive. We have many options to choose from from various companies almost more than 110+ companies participate in the placement. Deshaw, Google, ITC, JSW, Barclays, KMK Consulting, Ford, Mercedes India, Samsung, L&T, Oracle and many more companies visit our campus for companies placement drive. The highest salary offers goes up to 50 LPA and the average salary offers goes up to 21 LPA.

We should not doubt the placement offers of IITs as IITS are one of the top institutes of India in terms of producing the best engineers mind and helping them to have good packages. The college placement committee plays a very important role in the college placement rounds. As all the responsibility for conduction of placement is on the shoulders of the placement committee. The committee is always successful in attracting good companies and they guide us throughout the college placement rounds. The highest package for our batch was approx 34 LPA and the average salary package was around 11 LPA.

The college itself is very popular for its placements and the college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays a crucial role in the placement process. To take part in the college placement we have to register our names with the college placement committee and the committee makes sure that everyone is placed by guiding us through every round of placement. The highest package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the internship program.

The candidates of IIT-Gandhinagar were majorly hired for roles like application programmer, mobile app developer, web developer, video game programmer, SFX, and post-production and systems analyst. Candidates having previous internship experience were preferred by the companies. Also, candidates involved in live projects and coding boot camps had an edge over freshers. The companies visiting the campus were KPIT(Germany), Goldman Sachs, ITC, IOCL, HPL, and ISRO. The highest package offered was 18LPA while the average package stands at 12LPA. Since IIT Gandhinagar is a new branch, the package offered is a bit lower compared to other IITs. However, it is expected to get higher in the upcoming years.

Students can complete graduation in 3.5 years(minimum). Campus placements happen in the odd semester. A lot of companies visit campuses like Enphase, Google, JSW, ITC, Barclays, etc for internships and placements. I am applying for such opportunities as well. Our college also invites professors from international institutes like CalTech, University of Washington, etc who offer research internship opportunities to students. Students interested in higher studies apply for such opportunities.

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Very big companies like Amazon , TCS , Google and many more visit IIT Gandhinagar and there are a lot of offers provided by them... Highest package was of approximately 3 crores per annum... Maximum students that is more than 90% students get placement every year. I will also apply for a placement to get a job .
