DAIICT Admission 2024
Dhirubhai Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) Admission 2024 for UG & PG programs is conducted as per the entrance exam. DAIICT admissions to B.Tech program under the All India Category is done based on valid marks in JEE Mains entrance exams and GUJCET for the Gujarat Category. For admission to the DAIICT M.Tech program, the candidate can seek admission either through a GATE score or based on scores obtained in the entrance exam and the interview.
DAIICT B.Tech Admission 2024: Candidates must fill out the application form online by paying a non-refundable application fee of INR 1770 (INR 1500 plus GST 18%). Based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2024 (JEE-2024) Main, candidates will be shortlisted and offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted) in order of their merit. The institute will communicate with students via mail if a student gets shortlisted. After that, the aspirant will be called for counseling and must appear with all the necessary documents.
DAIICT M.Tech Admission 2024: Interested candidates have to fill out a non-refundable online application for INR 1770. A merit list will be prepared for GATE-Qualified candidates followed by online counselling. For Non-GATE qualified candidates the merit list will be prepared based on the entrance test score conducted at selected centers in the country.

- ITC infrastructure: DA-IICT has a modern eco-friendly, fully networked campus that is well maintained & provides high internet speed which students can use for their studies. There are over 1300 Desktop PCs and 75 Laptops deployed for use by faculty and staff.
- Lecture Complex: The campus has various lecture complexes.
- Food courts: There is a total of 7 food courts offering a wide range of food from north India to south India. The food courts are outsourced to be run by experienced caterers who can offer food at an affordable price to the students. All Amul products are available at the food court apart from eggs.
- Medical Facilities: The institute has a medical center that is well-equipped with reasonable stock of medicines. To offer medical service 24/7, two doctors visit campus daily. At the beginning of every academic year, an updated panel of medical specialists is also announced. Doctors don’t charge any fees for consultations and medicines. An Institute vehicle with a Driver is always on 24×7 duties to handle medical emergencies.
- Campus Security: The campus is well secured with security coverage round the clock. The security supervisors and guards at DAIICT Gandhinagar are well-trained.

Likes
- The first thing i liked about DAIICT, is of course it's coding competitive environment. There is no lack of coding talent here.
- The second thing I liked is the events. There is always an event going in background which helps you engage in activities other than the curriculum
Dislikes
- The first thing I disliked is that there is no attached bathroom with the room. As per the name of the college in the country
- Also DAIICT has a slightly hectic and challenging curriculum. It definitely keeps you super busy everytime.
Admission:
I generally didn't look up to many colleges. I personally liked the course ICT and I want to build up my career in this course itself. This is because ICT is the combination of IT+CS+ECE. Like the best combination, a computer engineering enthusiast can opt for. Therefore there were only two colleges I preffered - DAIICT and PDEU. Although I was sure that my first preference is DAIICT and luckily I got admission to my dream institute.
Likes
- Student culture is great. Lots of acitivities on campus. Junior senior relations are very helpful and genuine.
- College festivals. Synapse, i.Fest, Tarang and Concours have really uplifted the image of DAIICT in Gujarat.
Dislikes
- Curriculum is very strict. The courses taught by the professors sometimes are too advanced and complex to understand.
- It is extremely difficult to get/maintain 8+ GPA as faculties are really strict while submitting grades.
Admission:
At 12.7k AIR in JEE '21 , I was getting SVNIT ECE, IIIT Gwalior 5 year course and NIT Patna CSE. Chose this because of the proximity and good placements statistics. Got rejection from IIIT B, my dream college. Couldn't make it because the cutoff shot high that year. Admission process is just submitting your JEE Score and apply through their website. Cutoff is mostly 15k JEE Main Rank for ICT, 10k for CS and 13k for MNC.

- We have quite good placement stats that encourages students to stay positive and keeps them motivated among studies
- We have good peers and great competition that pushes us to keep upskilling ourselves
Dislikes
- Our grading policy is quite strict. Very difficult to maintain good cgpa
- Professors are rigid in nature most of them are above 50+ age wise.
Admission:
I took admission through JEE exam score. I had an option to take admission in IIIT lucknow and nit nagpur. I got computer science course in both the colleges. But I chose Daiict because it has very good alumini connectio, good food and hostel facilities, no restriction on hostel premises.

- I didn't like the college's 70% attendance policy
- I didn't like the gender ratio of the college

I had applied for SVNIT Surat for the computer science branch, but I didn't get admission because of my rank. I got sit into electronics branch, but I prefer DAIICT above SVNIT because of the placements and campus

- The culture of DA-IICT is what makes it the best college in Gujarat. The students are so competitive in terms of academics or in terms of the placements
Admission:
The admission is on the basis of the rank of the student in ACPC and JEE. The rank should be in top 150 students in ACPC and top 14000 students in JEE to get admission in DAIICT. The admission process in my case was smooth enough to ensure everything.

The admisson process was like 250 seats for gujarat students and 125 seats for other states/NRI students. The Gujarat state students admission was from acpc which consists of gujcet & 12th board while for other states student they had the jee mains or advance criteria. For backward classes like obc , st, sc there are reserved seats dont know the exact number. So for students entering vua acpc they will have pay admission fee 2500 from acpc portal or the link gor in mail for others no idea

For ICT Honours with Minors in computational science course, the cutoff for JEE Main is around 8500 AIR and for the GUJCET exam, the cutoff is around a rank of 60 out of 40,000 students. DAIICT Gandhinagar UG/PG Cybage Khushboo Scholarships
The Trust has instituted Merit-cum-Means Scholarships at DA-IICT for economically backward students. Five Scholarships is provided per academic year starting the academic year 2020-21 to the students of B.Tech. (ICT), M.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (DS) and M.Des. (CD) programs. The amount of the Scholarship shall be limited to 80% of the tuition fee a student pays in a semester. Hostel fee and any other fees or expenses will not be covered under the scholarship. The gross annual income of the student’s parents should be less than INR 3.00 lakh.

Professional Diplomas from nationally recognized institutions such as NID, NIFT, CEPT, and Srishti School of Art and Design will also be considered for eligibility. Candidates must have 55% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying degree/examination and are required to submit the provisional Degree certificate or proof of completion of the Degree before 30 October 2022 failing which their admission is liable to cancellation.
