Fees and Financial Aid:

In Jawaharlal Nehru every course is affordable for every section of the society. This university is known for the affordability of every course. The semester fee for almost every course is around or less than 150 rupees which is very affordable in every semester we have to register again in our hostels also which is for one semester is around 1400 rupees.

The total tution fee for the two year MA in political science Course at Jawaharlal Nehru University is INR 432 . Admission fee INR 50 a one time fee. Jnu is a government owned university located in Mehrauli, Delhi. It is known for its path-breaking research in the science and social sciences and encourages students to innovative and transform in different sectors. The campus is Lush green and and Aqi is also good. University is very cosmopolitan you will see students from abroad are also studying here. Jnu is the one of the top university according to the NIRF ranking.

A person residing in a hostel has to spend nearly Rs. 40000 per year which includes all the fees. The hostel charges about Rs. 1600 maintenance fees per semester. The message bill varies with hostels but on an average you pay Rs. 3200 p.m. The course fees amount to Rs. 175 per semester. There is a scholarship program for students with yearly family income less than Rs. 250000. The particular students get Rs. 2000 per month.

The university fee(258) was very low, which indicates that it was supportive for students who could not afford to get the education of such excellent quality in the outside world. There was a system of scholarships for students whose family income was less than 250000 annually, which also provided relief for students living in hostels to pay mess bills. Students were more inclined toward research and higher studies.

Life at JNU

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tuition fee is minimal. Just 150 rs. per semester. A lot of scholarships are also provided including MCM dor kar financially weaker students and a lot of other scholarships from ICSSR and UGC. Moreover, the placement facility provided on campus especially in the Economics department matches that of MBA colleges. Data analysis jobs and other jobs pertaining to economic analysis and policy reseach and provided.

We pay Rs.1500 per semester and mess bill around Rs.3000 and we get all basic things by own. There is merit cum means scholarship for us Rs. 2000/month for residents and Rs. 800for non-residents. We can work after completion of our course in any company or any government jobs that are available.

JNU is one of those universities that provided education very low cost. The study here is very affordable. In my course fees for per sem is 268. After this you have to pay mess bill that is around 3000 per month. There is provision of MCM scholarship for the economically weaker students. The scholarship varies from 2000 to 2500 rs pr month. Besids this you can apply for national scholarship.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for admission in the MA History program of JNU if you have completed your B.Tech degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate. Admission is based on the merit of CUET PG. You must register and take this examination with History as your domain subject.

Yes, you need to appear for entrance exam which is conducted by the University itself. The eligibility criteria for admission is a bachelor's degree from recognized University.
