Likes
- Very safe and secure campus life, especially for girls it's very safe and sound. Girls roam all night long around the campus which is a very rare phenomena anywhere in our country.
- Quality education and competent and professional professors and teachers here are the backbone of the university. They teach and evaluate students in a manner which is needed and up to date.
- Friendliness of the people and among the students and teachers as well. Seniors are really helpful and teachers are kind to help you even outside the class. Which is good quality of the JNU.
Dislikes
- The politics here is getting bitter day by day.
- The hectic schedule of the academic puts up a toll on your health
- Residential facilities are not that just survivable.
Course Curriculum Overview
The relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum is taken care of by good hands. The course is up to date and really comprehensive. Some teaching methods could be improved and methods of evaluation could be altered.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university provides scholarship of 2000/month to students coming from humble background but the scholarship doesn't even come regularly. Hence although the campus and the university is affordable yet some people face financial problems.
Campus Life
The residential facilities are not upto the mark. The hostels are overfilled. But the campus is really beautiful and enjoyable offering a vibrant and supportive social life to the students residing here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good but somewhat over crowded. A room which is supposed to be accommodated by only one person, it's given to two students. Hence the hostel problems do prevail here. Mess are just good enough, fee is minimal and affordable.
Admission
The admission process is pretty simple. You give the entrance you get a score you apply here and university releases their cut off if your score matches the cut off then you come here for your documents verification and your admission is done.
Faculty
Average class hold fourty students which makes it doable to do the things needed. This improves the quality of the teaching and evaluation by the teachers and the communication among the students. This helps the personality of the students in all manners.
