DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Many tech giants and great companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Wipro, and others often visit campus and offer very good packages. The highest package sometimes reaches to crores and the average package is also around 12 lacs which is good. Almost all the ones who want to get placed get placement. My plan after getting a degree isn't to get placed but to become an entrepreneur.

Students are eligible for Internships from 1st year. Placements begin in the 4th year. Very Prestigious Companies come every year like Facebook, Amazon, Optum, CapeGemini and many other MNCs are yearly vistitors and offer high-end packages to the students. Normally all students get placed who sit in for the placements.

Delhi Technological University Good aspect- 1. 75% Attendance factor is not that strict.2. Great college life and hostel lifePursue any activity of your choice. 3. Join any society ( music, dance,arts. computer, cricket, badminton, table tennis. enterpreneurship) 4. Class bunking is frequent5.Great peers, lots of learning, more competition menas more improvement6. Amazing fests and parties, many celebrities visit campus in 4 years, lots of fests from Technical fest to cultural fests.7. Major project often includes research paper which helps to have publication under your name.Bad Aspect - 1. Most important while selecting - lots of students means greater competition for same job, competition is high in on campus placement as compare to NSUT or NIT or IIT.2. I have plans to do a job, which I have already got from Infosys. I will do a framework and explore different fields and opportunities available. I will switch my job or work in the future. I am also planning to pursue some higher degree courses after completing my B.Tech from Information and technology.

The placement is average. It all depends on the capability and skills of a student. The students can do internships from 2nd or 3rd year but the final placements generally take place in the final year. In the previous year, 250+ companies had visited the campus giving 1400+ offers from all branches. Big Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, google, IBM, Siemens also hire students from the college. The highest package goes in crores but it's just for 1 or 2 students. So no need to focus on it.The average package is around 10 lakhs per year. The students having required skills and a good cgpa are more likely to get placements. After the degree, I will join a good company.

After 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. All big companies visit the university due to its high reputation like Google Facebook Amazon Samsung Delhi, Samsung Noida, Samsung Bangalore, hike, JP Morgan, bains, PSUs like DRDO, etc are also there. The highest offer was around 1 cr for international placement Average placement is 10-11 lakh/PA Most companies are open for all they are in search of talents. I will go for civil services examination after the graduation

Placement sessions start in the fourth year of graduation, while the internship placement session starts in the third year. The average package throughout the Btech batch was over INR 12lac per annum, while for my branch (Mechanical), it was over INR 8lacs per annum. Major tech giants like Facebook, Google, Amazon came to the campus, while in the Non-Tech field, the big 3 companies, viz Bain, McKinsey, BCG along with other equally well-reputed companies came for placements as well. Around 70-80% of students who applied for placements got placed.

DTU provides very good placements for tech students. opportunities for core students is also there but they are less as compared to tech students.Every year a very large number of students gets placements

Generally, students start doing internships in the 3rd year but they can do it in the 2nd year too if they possess the required skills. The placement is good. Every year almost 300+ companies visit the campus including companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Siemens, etc with 1400+ offers from all branches. The highest package is 1.27 crore given by google then next is 1.25 crore by uber. The average package is around 11 lakhs. Almost all the students with good knowledge and skills get placement. But there are some problems with offline placement.

This University is highly appreciated and reputed in India as well as in top Engineering College in Delhi Capital. Also it has amazing culture and gives a huge platform to grow in extra curricular activities for students as well.I got councelling letter on the basis of my AIEEE exam rank and hence got selected. Then I had to fill a admission form online and then went to the campus for physical registration which took a day.
