the year wise fees you paid might seem a bit high but it is worth it. the total fees include tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and other compulsory chnages during the course completion as per the category

- Traditional faculty - depending on your branch, the faculty may be traditional and strict.
- Higher placement expectation vs real placements
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees started around 200000 for the first year then increases by 10k every year, the area around the university is affordable to live in. If a student is taking a loan, they are expemted from late fee and other extra burdens. I personally had not takes any scholarships nor financial aid but i am under the impression that the system is fair and just. breakdown was - tuition was 200000, caution fee was 10000, registration was 50000, etc there was ews waiver which allowed the students to attend the university at low rates

- Sports complex for students are big and provide a great experience

- Wifi facility is very poor and not available at every place in college
- College fee is very high in compression to other government college

Scholarships are also available on the basis of family income and scholarship are also available on nsp portal and state scholarship are also available on the basis of family income and category wise.

- The labs are not well maintained and updated . As well as no practical knowledge is given in labs.
- The syllabus is also very old which need to be updated as per today's time requirement

First year fees - 229700 Second year fees - 234700 Third year fees -244700 Fouth year-264000 For categories their 100% tution fees waviour so they have to pay only rest of the fees Financial aids that are available are DTU fee concession in which they give 100% tution fees concession to students having financial problems and income less than 3.5lakh . Other than that their is mcm scholarship but this doesn't come every year .
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees are somewhere between 2,29,000 to 2,45,000 rupees from 1st year to 4th year BTech courses. The hostel and mess charge 80,000 for 1 year combined. Scholarships are provided to underprivileged sections of students after complete verification. I did not take any campus employment until now.

- Its campus is very large and it looks amazing
- The capacity of its library is much more and contains thousands of books

- Its location is not near to the metro station
- Issuance of sports items is prohibited on tuesday and thursday

Its fees is approximately 240000 per year excluding all other expenses like hostel charges or convence fees. Buts this college is providing a scholarship and the candidates can apply in this and may get a scholarship.

- Things I liked about this college are that It has the best faculty to give you the right directions to Not only improve academically but also in real life.

- I disliked the mess food that i got here.
- the first year hostels are very dirty and very humid.

There are many scholarships that can be claimed by students on the basis of their economic condition. scholarships with as DELL scholarship, DTU scholarship,etc. And The campus placement is very Top-Notch. Like mostly students get placed and even in Recession many students got placed.

- DTU is one of the best universities that offer almost everything which is needed for overall development of a college student, it has many active societies from tech to non-tech which helps in improving the confidence.
- Placements are top-notch specially for students from circuital branches easily get their dream package, for other branch students they need to work hard to get their dream package or company overall almost 80-90% students get placed having no backlog
Dislikes
- Placements are pretty average for non-circuital branches they need to get into non-tech profiles to get higher package and very few companies come for core sectors.
- Professor sometimes cancel classes without any information which becomes problem for students travelling 50kms.

Should I opt for DTU mechanical or IIIT Delhi CSE?
The choice depends on what matters the most to you.
If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice.
I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.
Which is better at DTU, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering?
If you are interested in the Mechanical branch, you should definitely go for DTU Mechanical. DTU has one of the best Mechanical departments in the country. There are many tech teams and societies for the branch. Tech teams such as Defianz Racing, AUV DTU, UAS DTU, etc. even participated in competitions of international levels and won.
The placement records are also good for the branch. Many PSUs frequently visit the campus placement to recruit students. The highlights of DTU Mechanical Engineering placements show the average package to be INR 7 LPA. ONGC, Mahindra, etc. are among the top recruiting companies.
Should I prefer JMI CSE or DTU mechanical?
Among the above two institutes, for students interested specifically in computer science, JMI CSE should be a better option. But, students having no specific preference in streams should consider Mechanical at DTU.
