Journey of Ups and Downs - "College Life "

Likes

The first thing i liked in the University is the faculty , they are super good in teaching and also very friendly
The second thing i liked in the university is the conduct of the conferences and seminars regularly which enhances ones personality.

Dislikes

The first thing i disliked in the University is the Management of Administration, they do not cooperate with the students and never allow to use University infrastructure.
The second thing i disliked in the University is that the sports facility is not good, beside studies students are also should be encouraged to play sports

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The year wise fees is 56000 and 24000 per semestet. The admission Fee is 33000 and it also includes the fees of first semester and also the development fees is 500 . There is no as such Lab fess and other charges

Environment is very good in our campus we have proper faculty in our college who guide us with the great experience
We have partition musuem in our college. Who help us toh understand the history

Dislikes

We don't have our proper park or garden thats sad us
We don't have a good quality of food in our college

They take semester wise fee for all the students they take 38thousand for 1 semester But for the Category student sc and st they take only the Tution fee that is 500 per semester Every semester is about 4-5 months long

Likes

Faculty is well experienced and cooperative.
Friendly environment and canteen food is hygienic.

Dislikes

Less placements and the package offered is not satisfactory
lack of good infrastructure and washrooms are not well maintained

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

1. My per semester fees is 32000 for MA Economics which I'm right now availing so my yearly fees is 64000 including tution fees , registration fees , development fees etc. 2. My batchmates from SC category are taking benefits and there semester fees is just 500 rupees and yearly fees is only Rs. 1000 3. As of now there is fee waiver facility but no scholarship as such.

Ambedkar University Delhi - Review

Likes

One thing which I like most about our college is that the campus is built very differently. It gives us a sense of history through it’s walls and it’s corridors.
There are various study clubs in our college which actually contribute so much to the social life of the students around the campus thus making college life actually interesting.

Dislikes

One thing which is on the bad part is I think the presence of too much monkeys around the campus. It is so difficult to take any food to the classroom from the canteen.
The campus is somewhat smaller as compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tuition fees of this course is somewhat high as it is a professional course but on the other hand they provide fee waiver policy for students who have low family income. Also they provide scholarships. According to me, they should think about reducing the tuition fees as it may still be much high for many students.

Faculty is very nice and very friendly . Always there to help you
Materials provided by the faculty is also very helpful

Dislikes

Campus is kind of small . There is not much of activites apart from studying
If u want to just study nd study then this clg is good

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course fee per sem is about 25k and in first sem u have to 30k rest of the sems re 25k only . There is fee waiver system in our clg . If u can't afford fee due to financial condition u can submit the income certificate nd then u have to pay only 2-3k . We even have student welfare fund . In this u get all the money u used to whole travelling to clg via any transport u just have to provide basic details

Reality of AUD

Likes

The fee waiver criteria is very helpful for many students
The quality of education provided is appreciated

Dislikes

No fests, even our seniors said from the past 3 years they haven't witnessed fest in oyr college
Very small campus area, it has shared campus with igdtuw so because of that only we have a ground otherwise no personal ground in the kashmere gate campus

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I've availed fee waiver because of my Caste advantage so my fees are much lower, unlike other students. So if you ask me if would I have opted for this university if I had paid like other students then it would be a NO from my side. Because 51000 for every semester is really a high amount for a Campus like this. I mean you can get into a good private college with this amount which will provide you with a better campus life.

The Fee waiver policy provides financial relaxation to students.
Student Welfare Fund ( SWF ) also provides financial help in accomodation and other academic requirements.

Dislikes

Old building & bad infrastructure of campus
Less extra curricular activities in campus

There is a 3 types of scholarship and financial assistance and a student can avail all of them if they are eligible. The scholarship deatails are below - 1. Fee Waiver ( Provides 100 percent fee relaxation ) 2. Merit cum means ( MCM ) for best performance in results. 3. Student Welfare Fund ( SWF ) - accomodation and other academic charges

My Journey At Ambedkar University

Likes

The faculty was very cooperative throughout the course.
Our teachers encouraged group discussions and group projects.

Dislikes

The courses structure could have been better.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course I pursued cost me 1lakh per year and it was a 3-year course, so comparatively it was quite good. I didn't opt for any financial aid but our college did have a lot of aids and scholarships based on merit and their personal situations. If you scored the highest in your batch you were also given a merit scholarship for the next semester.

Likes

Faculty is good, supportive and well qualified.
Teaching way is nice and assessment structure is many a times student friendly.

Dislikes

Infrastructure condition is not good and should be improved
High fees structure for general candidates is the major irritant

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fees is somewhat an issue. As a government institution, the fees is approx 25000 per semester which comes to around 50K for an year and every year fees is hiked. Considering other institutions like DU whose fees is way more less than this, makes AUD's high fees structure unjustifiable. If you are not from SC/ST category and family income is not less than 6LPA, then high fees structure becomes a problem. However, merit scholarship which ranges from 5-8K is given for excellent performance in academics, apart from student welfare fund which is given to financially disadvantaged students.

Student organisation activeness, IGDTUW is near which make college life more better
Canteen food is suitable for the one who is living far from his home

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fees of AUD is little higher than the other state colleges. But AUD provide equal facilities according to its fees. The scholarships we get includes Semester scholarship its means 20%high rankers of the course get some money and other includes SWF etc.
