"Life at Ambedkar University Delhi: an honest reflection"

Likes

Often you will get field visits if you enroll in Bba or Mba program. For eg we were taken to Yakult, Mother dairy, Parle G.
Through Bba I have developed confidence, knowledge, public speaking etc which has helped in my overall personality growth and will also help me in professional life

Dislikes

If you have less than 75% attendance, for everything 5% less attendence you have you will get a grade cut. For eg. If you attendance in a subject is 69% then you will get two grade cut and if you are getting A+ you will be demoted to B+
The attendance policy is way too harsh, it is 75% so you only get 6 to 7 leaves
The workload is more than it should be due to excessive assignments, presentation, projects along with semester exams

Fees and Financial Aid:

So when you pay your fees for 1st semester you have to pay Rs47600 (Rs5000 extra for caution money) and for the rest of semester it is Rs42600. The fee structure is as follows: 1. Tution fees - Rs37100 2. Student welfare funds - Rs500 3. Co-curricular and industry - Rs5000 Total - Rs42600 for one semester For 1 yr fees would be Rs85200. There are no additional fee you have to pay. In my case since 2022 no fees have been introduced and the fee structure is same. As far as the scholarship scheme is concerned an Amount of Rs10,000 will be given to you in case you are in the top 10 performers in your batch(in terms of sgpa). However the scholarship for the first semester was allocated to the students in 5th semester. If you come under any category or your annual family income is less than Rs3,00,000 no tution fees has to be paid and you only have to pay Rs5500.

The curriculum is more application based instead of just cramming the books to pass the exam, developing various new and necessary skills in the students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total annual fee, including everything, is rupees 80,000 for students of general category whereas for the students of the reseved categories, it is rupees 10,000. A fee waiver is also rolled out for the students of the EWS category. A merit scholarship of rupees 8,000 is also given every semester to top performers of each class.

An Unexpected College Life

Fees and Financial Aid:

We pay fees semester-wise which 23,500 rupees. The fees of the other batches are increasing with almost reaching 25,000 includibg all the charges. Hostel fees is almost 1 lakh annually. There are fee waviers for students with low economic background which they have to avail every semester and scholarships afe very hard to get as you have to deal a lot with the administration. The scholarship is given after the submission of fees thus according to me it's a waste to go through all the trouble with the sus office as results aren't frutiful.

The attendance criteria is 75% could have been less.

Fees and Financial Aid:

This year - 62000. Next 3 years 57000 for every year. This includes everything in fees. There is fee waiver in tution fee of 100% for Gross Annual Family Income (GAFL)of 3lac or below. 75% for 4lac or below, but more than 3lac. 50% for 5lac or below, but more than 4lac. 25% for 6lac or below but more than 5lac. The fees is same for BA(H) course. There are scholarships but you can get details about this only from college.

The course structure and the readings incorporated especially for Arts subjects are incredible.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees is around 30,000 per semester. For students availing reservation the fees is 500 rupees per semester, so it's a good option for reservation availing students especially. Fees is not increasing as for now. There is a provision for semester wise scholarship. From every class the toppers from the class get some money depending on the department you're from. It can be 4,000, 5,000 and so on.
