Journey of Ups and Downs - "College Life "

Likes

The first thing i liked in the University is the faculty , they are super good in teaching and also very friendly
The second thing i liked in the university is the conduct of the conferences and seminars regularly which enhances ones personality.

Dislikes

The first thing i disliked in the University is the Management of Administration, they do not cooperate with the students and never allow to use University infrastructure.
The second thing i disliked in the University is that the sports facility is not good, beside studies students are also should be encouraged to play sports

Campus Life:

The overall experience of my campus life is good. The infrastructure is good with ac's all over the campus which gives a great relief in summers. The university should focus more on funding the societies and clubs of the college and also into the sports thing.

Environment is very good in our campus we have proper faculty in our college who guide us with the great experience
We have partition musuem in our college. Who help us toh understand the history

Dislikes

We don't have our proper park or garden thats sad us
We don't have a good quality of food in our college

Campus Life:

University@city fest Canadian food fest Food fest And many workshop happen in aud, dissertation, theatre, dance, music, design, art, writing and many more. There is no sports in AUD. there is also online and offline library in aud which helps us alot in our dissertation period

Likes

Faculty is well experienced and cooperative.
Friendly environment and canteen food is hygienic.

Dislikes

Less placements and the package offered is not satisfactory
lack of good infrastructure and washrooms are not well maintained

Campus Life:

1. Our library consists of wide range of books you will find every book here. 2. Air conditioned rooms are here and labs are well maintained. 3. There are various clubs and society like film society, economics society etc. 4. HSC is a group of our college which arranges diwali , holi fests etc.

One thing which I like most about our college is that the campus is built very differently. It gives us a sense of history through it’s walls and it’s corridors.
There are various study clubs in our college which actually contribute so much to the social life of the students around the campus thus making college life actually interesting.

Dislikes

One thing which is on the bad part is I think the presence of too much monkeys around the campus. It is so difficult to take any food to the classroom from the canteen.
The campus is somewhat smaller as compared to other colleges.

Campus Life:

There are many fests and cultural events which are held throughout the year. There are majorly two student run social study groups which contribute in events and fests which take place around the campus. There are also sports events and the classrooms and the infrastructure is also pretty good. All the classrooms are well ventilated and projectors are installed for presentations and lectures. One thing which is a drawback is shortage of classrooms which affects the availabilty of classrooms for lectures most of the times.

Faculty is very nice and very friendly . Always there to help you
Materials provided by the faculty is also very helpful

Dislikes

Campus is kind of small . There is not much of activites apart from studying
If u want to just study nd study then this clg is good

Campus Life:

Infrastructure is very good . As there is installed heaters during winters and ac during summers . Desk is also good . There are clubs too but that is not much active . Only club which si active is football club .

Reality of AUD

Likes

The fee waiver criteria is very helpful for many students
The quality of education provided is appreciated

Dislikes

No fests, even our seniors said from the past 3 years they haven't witnessed fest in oyr college
Very small campus area, it has shared campus with igdtuw so because of that only we have a ground otherwise no personal ground in the kashmere gate campus

Campus Life:

The name of our annual fest is Audacity, but even our seniors said that it had last taken place before COVID-19 after that no fests have taken place. Even this year the registrar promised that we'll witness the fest but it didn't happen. There are student-led clubs and societies in the campus which is fun but we have to fight for the funds as our college doesn't give us the funds so easily. Also if you win any competition then only they'll give funds.

Likes

The Fee waiver policy provides financial relaxation to students.
Student Welfare Fund ( SWF ) also provides financial help in accomodation and other academic requirements.

Dislikes

Old building & bad infrastructure of campus
Less extra curricular activities in campus

Campus Life:

The campus life in campus is creative and innovative. Fest and debates are organised by different societies. Books and journals are available in a large number along different categories. There is also a IT lab which provides technical support to students.

The faculty was very cooperative throughout the course.
Our teachers encouraged group discussions and group projects.

The courses structure could have been better.

The social life at AUD campus is quite happening, most of the people who enroll at AUD have a similar mindset. They want to learn and enjoy. There are several clubs and societies catering to different section of students based on their interests.

Likes

Faculty is good, supportive and well qualified.
Teaching way is nice and assessment structure is many a times student friendly.

Dislikes

Infrastructure condition is not good and should be improved
High fees structure for general candidates is the major irritant

Campus Life:

Library is small in size buy availability of books is decent. Some classrooms have very poor infrastructure while some have decent to good. Societies are there in the University but many of them are inactive generally. However, some are good too. The only thing which is concerning is the condition of sports which is to be honest not at all good. University has 3 campuses in which the Kashmere Gate one is the main campus and is located in heritage building (It has good aesthetics).

Campus Life:

College life at AUD is decent. Fest is mainly organised by Student organisation only. Adminstration of AUD have zero efforts in the Fest. Every type.of book is available in the library. Sports room is also available. Social group includes HSC, ABVP, SFI, AISA
