The faculty at AUD is known for being approachable and supportive, which has improved the educational experience despite past faculty shortages. However, the college does not have a dedicated placement cell for BA students, and the existing placement support for PG courses is not very effective, leading to limited job placements for students. As a result, students often need to independently plan their careers with little help from the administration.
While college events and activities provide stipends, they do not significantly impact student financial aid. Internships, however, offer valuable practical experience and teamwork skills. The fee structure at AUD is affordable, especially for SC, ST, and OBC students, with fees as low as 500 rupees per semester for SC and ST students, and around 30,000 rupees per semester for others. Students have opportunities to earn through extracurricular activities and can benefit from semester-wise scholarships, with class toppers receiving awards from 4,000 to 5,000 rupees or more, depending on the department.
The fees have not increased recently, making the college an attractive option for students with reservations.
