Likes

College infrastructure is quite good with smart classes and a smart Library
The faculty is great and quite good at their job
The campus is usually quite peaceful and a great place to conduct discussion

Dislikes

The food of the mess is very bad, unhygienic as well as expensive
There are not many fests held in the college and the ones that are held feel like ab average school function
Their is a strict 65% attendance policy per semester and the students who fail to fulfill it are debarred from exams

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is updated every year to keep up with its relevancy in our course a skill development course has also been taught of paralegal training which has helped students to gain internships under advocates and firms

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The average fees per semester is 25k but for the first semester you have to pay an additional 5k security deposit that gets refunded after the completion of your course. Fee waiver policy is available for students who belong from a weaker economic family for them after submission of income certificate if their gross family income is less that 4lpa their per semester fees is reduced to 3k only although they also have to pay the first semester security deposit of 5k like the rest of the students.

Campus Life

Their is no much social life at the campus as I said mostly it's quite peaceful there are not many clubs or social events happening their we do have a football team of our college and a debate society these two are the most active ones other societies do exist but students don't partake in them as much you can make a social life in the campus by yourself by finding a good company

Admission

I chose this college as it makes your base strong if you are aiming for a career in the law field this 3 year program helps students to get experienced in college academics and what is expected from them in the future also. The admission for the college is done by cuet exam conducted every year

Faculty

Facilities is great and quite helpful whenever they are needed by the students. Every semester a mid term and an end term exam is conducted with also a few class assignment such as written ones and presentation. The best faculties are surely the professors as they are very qualified at their jobs and very kind towards the students

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements are competitive and hard to get. Usually multiple offers are limited to few disciplines such as Commerce or economics. While many arts students usually dont sit for placements in that high a number. Highest packages have gone upto around 45LPA, while average package remains somewhere around 12-14 LPA While companies such as BCG,. mckinsey etc do visit campus and as I said- they are more economics and commerce oriented but other discipline students also get placed- just not in these high numbers. Usually around 8-9 GPA is a good score for placemets. The employability is good in the market as the college does have strong Alumni Network and also is a recognised and reputed name in the job market.

Placement Experience:

I would say the placement opportunities are more available for science , commerce background students in the college there are rarely any placement opportunities for humanities background students . Mostly students starts engaging in placement in the fifth semester .severky companies visited campus every year including Deloitte , EY.TCS etc . Around 40 - 50 percent students from professional courses get the placement annually .even for the students not opting for placement the exposure n the strong alumni network of college help them secure good opportunities outside campus

"My Experience at Hindu College : A full review of Academic , Social , Campus life and beyond"

Placement Experience:

As i'm a 1st year student I'm not very into placements as my course is BA and irrespective of the college very few students are able to get placement for having a BA degree but I've heard from seniors and read some reports after doing some research that Ur able to be in the placement after ur 5th sem , furthermore the courses which usually gets the placement involves B.COM , BA Economics hons , BA Pol Science and History hons in NITI AAYOG or for BSC. I think Mathematics or statistics hons caters to the placement part the highest placement last year was 36.50 LPA offered while the average was 10.40 LPA which is seemingly impressive though there's a 90% placement rate in BCOm which is one of the highest in entire DU and more than 50% of ECO hons students too get placed while a few from POLSCience AND history too gets placed as societies have played an imp role too mainly by the DISHA one which offers valuable internships .... well my plan after getting a degree is a secret which I'M not comfortable in sharing so I hope u respect that but my friends in the same course plans to opt for Higher studies i.e MA then maybe PHD , ya others are planning for typical govt . exams thinking that they would clear UPSC . all the best to them the companies which I heard from seniors who were placed that came to college was ACCENTURE , DELOITTE , KPMG AND ig HDFC too was there ...

Though there are placement schemes for the IT sector courses but for my course that is history hons. the placement are generally are in the form of internships and after the degree the research section is held and after that we can get a job in archeology department after passing few tests , we can get assistant professor tests . Placement cells generally vists the college campus frequently in the year and there medium to high coverage of packages which are setttled from our college.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

A real Guide to AUD

I applied to DU and Christ University. I did not choose DU as the college i got was not that good in terms of faculty and overall environment and infra. Chirst i didn't choose as it was not an open and non judgmental environment. No. I got accepted everywhere i applied. Admission is through CUET exam. Admission process at AUD is quite simple, much like DU. They used to have interviews, but now they don't for majority courses. I went to AUD for their curriculum.
