The course I applied for was Masters in Zoology with a specialization of Biochemistry and Animal Physiology in Handique Girls College under Gauhati University. The tution fees is 20000 per semester, registration fees is 5000 which include lab fees and development fees as well. Scholarship are available to categories and sudents falling under EWS category. Various quotas like Sports Quota, NCC Quota are available.

Student Snaps:

At the time of admission 10000 rupees. Semester wise exam fees is nearly 1200 rupees. Total of 4 semesters, we can opt for library facilities with just 200 rupees. Everyones fees is same and not different based on reservation. A scholarship of 3 lakh from Oil comes for students having parents income less than 2 lakh. Another one is from NSP which gives scholarship of 3 lakh to students having parents income less than 4 lakhs.

A considerable college to look for. Sure it would be a very great experience.

The yearly fees I pay is Rs 33000. This is the tution fee and there are also extra charges for exam fee, hostel fee, mess fee, etc. Unfortunately there's no scholarship for this course and it is a self financed course.

The fees infrastructure could have been better

The fees for the course is 16500 which need to be paid every semester that is of 6 months. We do get scholarships depending upon the eligibility criteria. That is if our parental yearly income is less than 4 lakhs we get a scholarship of 80000 every year

My College Experience

One has to pay 180000 per semester for admission and separate exam fee for each semester and their is also scholarship provided for students whose family annual income is below 8 lakh or less. The name of the scholarship is Ishaan Udoy. There are also several different scholarship for different caste students

Pros and cons of GU

The schedule is quite hectic and a students entire time and mind power would have to be dedicated to only the curriculum and not other competitive exams

poor management of exams and office during need

Nowgong college is a well known institution offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. I'm pursuing a Bsc jn zoology and here's an overview of the possible fee structure and scholarship details based on general information of my college. Fee structure (approximate) -they can vary based on the category(general/st/sc/obc). For general category it could be around ?1000-2000) -admission fee was free as per this year's government's order by every government college. -since my college is fully government funded so there is no development fee need to be paid -for formfillup of exams i need to pay around ?2000 -i pay around 1400 every month for hostel fee Total fee could be around ?10000-?20000 every year for any category. Scholarship details: -ishan uday scholarship is funded by UGC and supports the students of northeast whose annual income is less than ?4, 50000 for various academic support. -various category scholarships are also available yearly -hostellers can also apply for separate hostel scholarship

A look into Guwahati University Accommodation

For BSc at Guwahati University the fees are about 10k to 15k yearly. includes tution fees admission and lab fees..For MSc botany is bit higher 12k and can go higher in diff courses. SC,ST gets scholarships benefits in merit cum need.. batches fees are similar with us.ST fees may get reduced fees while scholarships are available for OBC students to .Overall good experience and can cover expenses easily.Thank you

First year admission of mac physics program an amount 13000 is to be paid including all the fees and in the second year amount is 7200 . For EWS and NCL and income certificate holder tthe admission is free . The SC ,OBC, ST categories has to have income certificate for getting free admission
