Faculty:
Our faculties are like top quality and they have always made our classes eventful. Their teaching methods and exercises that they give always are more meaningful. Our faculties contribution in changing the face of management studies in a college which is renowned for engineering is immense.
Likes
- The enviroment, it has lot of greenery and hills, the campus is big and there are lot of shops inside the campus
- The infrastructure and lab facilities are good. Everything is well maintained and the equipment are aslo in good condition
Dislikes
- Away from city centre and it is far away from the centre so, if you want to have a party or watch a movie
- The campus is big, and it is hard to travel around in a cycle, vehicles are not allowed
Faculty:
In my mechanical department they are 114 students, there are close to 40 professor then there are lot of mtech and phd senior who help them run all the labs plus classes. There are also lab assistant, and management that take care of the day to day. The best professor will be srinivas behera, they took our Mechanics of Solid in 3rd semester and taking Meterolgy in 5th semester. He is very good in teaching topics, even though he is new. The worst professor will be tanmoy bose, he never gives full marks even if you do the question like he does in class, if you somehow get good marks in exams, he will find ways to cut marks in TA and the maximum you will get is A grade, he rarely gives excellent. His teaching skills are poor or down right pathetic, I never understood anything he taught in class. There are mid sem and end sem exam. Mid sem - 30% End sem - 50% TA ( Teacher Assessment) - 20% Depends on teacher but includes class test, attendance etc.
Faculty:
Our faculty are very well educated and helpful in every aspect their will graduated from different deemed university and their done their masters and doctor in philosophy from foreign research University and also they are doing research now a days and we are very happy that we got such talented ever and we are blessed for them

- area of the campus, easy acces to everything, gym is also there
- faculties are nice depending upon the branch also there are courts for every sport
Dislikes
- electrical professors are not very chill unlike other branches
- food quality is vey bad and the price for the same is very high
Faculty:
faculties are nice...they are helpful..., and course structure is little also we have 85 percentage attendance policy and the administration is not considerate for low attendance...you will have to face consequences if the attendance criteria is not fulfilled. A semester has two exams namely-midsem and end sem, midsem carries 30 marks and end sem carries 50 marks and 20 marks is from the teacher's assessment. If your CGPA is less than 4, in three consecutive sem you'll be restrigated from college

Faculty:
Total faculty in ECE Department-39 Total no students in a batch(B.Tech) -120 RATIO-1:3 Faculty are friendly,co-operative and ready to help students in their academic,mental health,financial and health issues Faculties and HOD are approachable and helpful In my ECE Department there are excellent faculties and among them whom I like the most are Prof.Anirban Bhowal,Prof.Santanu Kumar Behera, Prof.Sudipta Maity.They do fair Evaluation,always ready to listen and solve student issues and problems and facilitate them in best possible way Examination Pattern:2 Semesters (Autumn and Spring) in a year Mid semester-30 Marks End Semester-50 Marks Teachers Assesment-20 Marks(Based on Assignment,Quiz,Class Test,Class Performance,Attendance) Exams are Moderate to DIfficult Level.Less than 5% students fail in a course but it depends on the type of Evaluation and professor.Course Curriculum is updated as per NEP,Industrial Requirements and Technological Development
Likes
- The culture in the college is nice there are pepple from many parts of country
- The sports and games are held in a very good way.
Dislikes
- The rooms and food is not that much good.
- The rules of the college are not that much satisfied.
Faculty:
The faculty here have atleast been in an iit or nit atleast once.They are from various parts of country. They have not shown any bias between us. They are very friendly and show a very good care on the academically back students.
Likes
- The quality of infrastructure and amenities are very good, campus is eco-friendly
- From 2nd year onwards they will give the placement training with the help of placement training group
Dislikes
- We have to maintain 85% attendence , that is too difficult
- Here ,In winter climate is too cold and In summer it is too hot
Faculty:
Faculty to student ratio is 1:20 The faculty are friendly to approach anything related to academics The number of exams are depends on the number of credits in the semister If we fail in any exam we can write supplementary course in summer vacation and crash course in winter vacation

- The college placements are quite commendable.
- The college infrastructure is good and provides nice ambience.
Dislikes
- The need for 85% attendance is compulsory in the college.
- Some professors of the department are very strict and sometimes not reasonable.

Faculty:
The professors are quite experienced and good but some of them are very strict and sometimes not reasonable. There is a faculty advisor for every 60 odd students. The best faculty I have come across is Dr Sudip Kundu from ECE department. He makes the concept easy to understand. One of the people i didn't is Dr. Situ Rani Patre of same department. She doesn't teach well. Evaluation pattern: 30 marks midsem. 50 endsem. 20 Teacher's Assessment.
Likes
- I like the infrastructure here. It is so good.
- The placements here are great.the avg package is 18L for my branch.
Dislikes
- there is nothing that I don't like here.
- I don't like the politics happening here.
Faculty:
Every branch will be having a facad here. For any doubts we can ask him.And the teachers respond to our messages and also cacels classes and labs whenever we want. But some teachers are not good they won't see give good grades.
Likes
- High quality infrastructure, and large, green enclosed campus with high security for students and zero ragging campus
- Good mess food , with proper hygiene maintained and nice hostel rooms .
Dislikes
- Less boys to girls ratio i.e. upto 5:1 and sometimes 4:1
- The college has a high attendance rate upto 85% whereas maximum other IITs and NITs have upto 75%.
Faculty:
The college has a faculty ration upto 1:10 . The faculties are very nice and supportive and are very much punctual to their ciriculum. Prof.Indrajit Sarkar and Hrishikesh Nayak are some of my favourite faculty members , I feel them to be very supportive and very friendly to their students , with no harsh marking scheme in exam and others. Yet there are still some faculty members who just want their ego to be satisfied and do not think about the welfare of the students. Two examinations are conducted every semester which includes mid semester and end semester , the exams are kind of moderate to hard sometimes, sometimes may also surprise the students while some papers are easy.
