college life

I choose electronic system and communication, in my college this is related to electrical department. But in my class more than 10 people from ECE background.Here core subjects related to communication. So when you are from Electrical background you will be learn communication subjects like analog communication, digital communication, signals and systems. I am from ECE back ground so I know communication basics, so i didn't suffer. For exams we have few time only. Joining to mid exams we have less than 50 days. mid marks consider as your over all CGPA. So we little bit suffer here. For every subject we have 100 marks. 50 marks for main exams, 30 marks from mid exams and 20 marks for your performance like assignments etc.

After 1st semister companies visiting campus. January onwords companies start visiting campus. All 1st semister pass students are elgible. Some companies asking CGPA also. Intel, Qualcomm,Texas,NXP semiconductors,Media tech, etc.,

Placemants are start from january. All mtech 1st year 1st semister completed students are elgible based on CGPA. Some Companies ask more than 7cgpa. For my department Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Texas,NXP semiconductiors, anolag devices, Media teck,Synapse design,sienens, etc.,

Hello every one, My self suri setti jaya raju. I got NIT rourkela EE branch , specilization ELECTRONIC SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION.My totlal fee is 3,48,500 which breaks up into 4 sems, for 1st sem 99500(addmission fee 2500,tuition fee 35000,medical fee 2000,student activity fee 2000, other fees3000, hostal rent 5000,caution fee 10000(refundable),emergency fund 5000,hall establishment fee 5000 mess advance 30000), 2nd sem 82000(accept admission,emergency money,caution money), 3rd sem 85000(accept caution fee, addmision fee, emargency fund) and 4th sem 82000(same like 2nd sem). the scholarship amount is 12400 per month for students who join through CCMT counselling.

Campus life is very good. I spend daily minimum 2 hours for sports. Here grounds also good. Swimming also available. for students daily 5 slots , every slot 40 mins. Boys hostel opposite grounds available. Library is 24/7 open(accept some main holidays).Hear so many books available for one subject written by more than 10+ authors. Every festival Celebrating here.

I am staying in hostel. About my hostel in my room total 2 members. Each person having one bed, one chair. I my room one fan, one light , one study table, ethernet port available. I am staying in 4th floor corner room.I am getting 5G network. Etherner speed upto 50mbps. But in my hostel some times one block having water problem. Mess food also average. Food is differ for every block.

This college is neat to my state when compare to other colleges(like I applied). Hear placements are good. Thats why i choose here. I applied so many nits but, that colleges are long distance. I was join through CCMT counseling. After qualifing GATE i applied this college through CCMT. For Mtech in NITs CCMT is best platform. Hear we apply so many colleges and different branches. Seats are allocated based on gate score and catagory(open,obc,sc,st,pwd).

The professors all are very experenced faculty, like our mobile comm professor having 34 years of experience.The faculty to student ratio 1:12. Total faculty is great, if we maintaining discipline all faculty will good with us.

Upto 12am students have permisson to spend time in outside. After 12am some restrictions are there. Central GYM having timings, and every hostel having GYM.These are open morning 5am to 9am and evening 5pm to 10pm. Equipment also good. Almost all students having cycles. For free time all are cycling campus.
