IIIT Bhubaneswar Review

After clearing my GATE exam I was looking for the college that provides CSE as the flagship course as I feel that CSE has more scope and I have also completed my B.Tech degree from CSE. I have secured 65% in my B.Tech. During my research, I found that IIIT Bhubaneswar matches my preference as the college is popular for its CSE program and provides good placement to CSE. So I decided to go for IIIT Bhubaneswar as I was able to meet all the cutoff conditions of IIIT Bhubaneswar.

The curriculum is according to international industrial standards. the college provides us with good knowledge of coding and the faculty provides us with some simple tricks to learn coding. The curriculum provides us with all the basic and advanced levels of knowledge in the field of CSE and the curriculum also provides a good opportunity in research and project activities.

The internship is optional but I will suggest you to opt for the internship because companies like Infosys and Wipro visit the campus for the internship programs. The internship program is a good platform for us to learn about the corporate world and gain some industrial experience. The stipends for the internship program start from Rs. 25000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/-

The college has a good placement record and especially for CSE. The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement committee is helpful and guides us during the college placement drive and they really provide some tips and tricks to clear the placement rounds. The highest package for our batch was around 40 LPA and the average package was approx 15 LPA which really very good. The college gives us a good return on investment. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Mindtree, Infosys, IBM, TCS, Google, Infosys, etc participate in the college placement drive.

The college provides scholarship on a merit basis and scholarship and financial grant for SC/ST/PWD is also available. The college provides scholarships through more than 6+ programs. The college infrastructure is well maintained and the college is very clean. The college main fests are Advaita is the technical fest which is organised in the month of February and Ingenium is the cultural and literature fest of the college. The college library is full of different kinds of books from around the world. The college also provides a free WiFi facility around the campus. The college seniors are very friendly and cooperative. The college also organises the sports competetion between the different departments of the college. All in all the campus life of the colleges is fun and full of events.

The hostel rooms are available as triple, double, and single sitter rooms as per the budget. The rooms are equipped with beds, almirahs, and study tables. The hostel is well maintained and properly cleaned. We have to register for a hostel during the admission process. The mess food is good quality and the menu keeps on changing. The hostel provides us free WiFi facility. The hostel is equipped with all kinds of facilities and amenities.

The faculty of the college is very qualified and experienced. Most of the faculty of the college is of PhD level with good industrial experience which is very beneficial for us. The faculty guides and motivates us to take part in the extracurricular activities as they believe that overall personality development is important for us to get good placement and achieve success.
