Course Curriculum Overview
For mechanical engineering students there are 3 options 1) Design 2) Production 3) Thermal Based on one's personal interest and cutoff marks one can choose department. All the department have highly qualified faculty. Placement of design is better than other 2 departments.
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple internship opportunities for students in their core domain as well as interdisciplinary department. Internship offered is for 2 months 6months or sometimes long internship of 12 months is also offered.
Placement Experience
Placement is very good. Almost 80? students gets placed every year. Average package is aroung 8 LPA. Highest package is around 15 LPA. If someone don't get placed they can opt for PhD from some reputed IIT
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is paid semester wise. Tution fee for each sem is 35000 Total fee for each semester is around 80000 including hostel and mess fee. Various scholarship are available for SC/ST students. Stipend of 12400 is provided to students who got admission through CCMT Process
Campus Life
This college has arguably best campus. Many annual fest are organized during Dec Jan month. Innovision is one of the main cultural fest. Celebrity night is organised in the month of March. Holi and many other festival is being celebrated enthusiastically.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is compulsory. There are multiple hostels like SD Hall, Homi Bhabha hall., MV Hall, MSS, Birla, Ambani, CVR. Hostel is generally 2 seater and for Mtech final year it is single seater. There is separate hostel for married people doing PhD.
Admission
To get admission you first need to qualify GATE exam which held in February every year. After qualifying the exam you need to check CCMT website for admission process. You need to register there and fill the preference for as per your preference. There are 3 general round and 2 special rounds. After confirming the seat you need to visit the college physically and get your documents verified.
Faculty
All the faculties are very well qualified and they have brilliant brain. They are knowledge powerhouse. Almost all faculty behave very decently with every student and they are very much cooperative. Student to faculty ratio for Mtech is 2:1.
