- So, the Positive aspects of the college are that big companies come for the place Like Amazon, NVIDIA, Tata, Texas Instruments and many more. And also, the fees is relatively less than the other engineering colleges. And also many workshops happens.
- The college life is decent and also the quality of social Interaction is good in this college as people from different regions of India comes here. Some faculties are very interested in teaching but some are not very much interested .
- The quality of infrastructure in this college is not so good as this college made in 1960s, But new buildings are also on constructions and the amenities that the campus provides is the all sports access and also olympic level pool is also available.
Dislikes
- There are no Almirah's in the hostel and also the Internet speed is decent and the connectivity for the NIT Rourkela is not so good And the power cuts are very frequent and there is also no generator available for this.
- The curriculum is not up to date The college is only focusing on theory but not on the skills for the students and therefore students have to work by their own to develop such skills which require for the placements.
- Also the mess food Is very decent and some lecture rooms are also not well maintained as there are issues of the eco of the voice of professor in the lecture halls.

- I really liked the infrastructure and the facilities provided by the college.The classrooms big and all classrooms have AC. Cleanliness is maintained very nicely across the whole campus. Student are only allowed to use cycles, Pollution is controlled
- Inside the campus there are lot of shops , restraunts, stalls etc so students don't have to go outside the campus to buy anything. Almost every hostels has stationary shops and printout facilities so it is very convinient.
- The fests and the events are a major part of the college. There are many clubs and students can join them according to their interests. This helps in overall development of the students and aloow us to meet people and make friends.
Dislikes
- There is a 85% attendance in NIT Rourkela and it is strict. So we have to attend the classes even if we don't like some of them.Skipping classes can result in penalty. I think it should be 75% like other colleges.
- The first year hostel rooms are a little bit small compared to other hostels' rooms so it feels a little congested.The top floors of hostels are hot compared to other floors so buyin a coller is very much necessary for he students in top floors.
- There are some subjects that are not related to the branch but we have to study them for grades so i think those subjects should be removed.The subjects should be related to the branch.

- I liked all the accomodation they have provided.
- Better opportunities like swimming, badminton court, 2 stadiums and food, laundry and canteen services .
- Have a separate hostel for the 1st freshers and strict anti-ragging policy.
Dislikes
- Counsellors should inform about the activities, scholarship programs and. events.
- Should increase the girls and boys ratio which is currently 1/4 .
- Some time should be provided to club activities during vacation time.

- The campus is very large and clean and ample amount of emphasis is given on sports activities which includes badminton courts, football grounds, cricket ground, kho kho ground, hockey, swimming pool and many more.
- Good amount of fests are organised which includes technical fests, sports fests, cultural fests and many more.
- The peer group is good as people come after clearing JEE hence there is a positive enviroment about studying/coding/technical acivites.
Dislikes
- The connectivity of rourkela is very less it does not even house a proper airport and the train routes are usually very long for north and south indian students. The trains are delayed too
- The girl boys ration though improving still remains low .
- hostels though are well maintained but the rooms are too small for two students to share it

- The college campus is quite large and full of greenery. There are many beautiful places inside the campus.
- Ease of accessibility of many items as the shops are nearby only. Sports facilities are also good including swimming pool, volleyball,basketball, badminton courts, cricket ground,etc.
- Faculty members, seniors, batchmates all are helpful and kind. There is no ragging over here. Some faculties teach very nicely.

- Few faculties will make your life hell, but they are just a few in no. and present in every college.
- Curriculum is relevant but vast as well and can become tiresomee.The gender ratio is bad in core branches like mechanical, chemical, civil,etc.
- Mess food is sometimes bad and in hostel, there is water issue sometimes.
