I will be paying 1 lakh per year. In the first semester while counselling process 40000 is needed to be deposited as seat acceptance fee. For students of SC / ST Categories academic fees is completely waived off and they pay only hostel & mess fees. institute also provides fee waiver on basis of parental income. For students having parental income between 1 and 5 lakhs then 66.67% tuition fees is waived off . For students having parental income less than 1 lakh the complete tuition fees is waived off.

Fee differs from person to person. People having reservation benefits can get scholarship directly from the institute itself. Morever, people coming from general or OBC category and having family income less than 1 lakh and 5 lakh will get fee benefits accordingly. Complete cost is about 5 lakhs for 4 years for me. There many scholarships for students such as FFE which they can apply for.

tuition fee irrespective of gender for general students is above one lakh per semester, for obc students it is sixty thousand per semester and for sc st students it is forty thousand per semester. i am a general student, i give 2 lakhs per year, so the total cost i will be bearing in btech course will be more than 8 lakhs, but there are many of students whose in just 3 lakhs the entire 4 years will be gone. The neighbouring students of bhutan, nepal and bangladesh get scholarships, they dont pay tuition fees at all just the hostel charges and mess fees of very less amount like ten thousan or fifteen thousand.

First, we have to register for sem after that we get time for fee submission. At starting fee include the mess fee, hostel fee, medical fee, etc. We get financial help for fees through scholarships like nsp etc.

There is not much scholarship from the institute but the central government and state government can provide many scholarships irrespective of your college. Fees are too high 2lakhs per annum. It is unbearable to pay such kind of fees.

The course fee is around rs 80000 per semester and the mess fee is 20000 per semester. There is financial assistance provided to students who have a net family income of less than 1 lakh. Other kinds of scholarships can be availed through various companies that conduct regular scholarship tests and hackathons. There is an SBI Scholar loan available to study here at very low-interest rates. One can avail of the loans by showing proof of admission. Internships are provided to students after 3rd year which gives a hefty stipend of 30000-125000 per month. Placements are pretty good here and the training and placement cells give regular opportunities to train and keep updated about various internships, placements, and scholarship processes. Research and Ph.D. grant is provided to research scholars. Certain scholarships are also provided by ministries of government like oil, gas, construction, etc. Merit scholarships are also provided by various private organizations on the basis of academic excellence.

Fee structure is very simple for general candidates without any reservation and OBC candidates with their family income more than 5 lakhs per annum have to pay a full amount of 8 lakhs rupees. But for reserved candidates and candidates with proper documents they are benefitted according to college policies. There is very rare hike in fees mostly hostel and mess fees require a hike due to tender changes. For poor students also fee relaxation is there. No job on campus. College gives information on different scholarships one must apply wisely

The fee structure differs for different income categories which seem to be comfortable. As I joined the college in 2022 I am new here and don't have any scholarship. Campus placement is here. Mtech and PhD student get stipend.

The choice of an institute depends on 2 major factors, the credibility of the institute and the branch you are getting. In terms of the worth of the institute NIT Rourkela clearly overpowers NIT Durgapur. NIT Rourkela ranks second in East India after IIT Kharagpur.
NIT Rourkela Biotechnology is designed for students whose primary focus is pursuing qualitative research and g for a Masters's or Ph.D. That being said, it has limited job opportunities and the placement percentage is as low as 60%. Moreover, only a handful of core companies make offers and the average CTC offered is in the range of 5 -6 Lakhs.
NIT Durgapur Chemical Engineering is a suitable choice if you prioritize placements to research work. Even the core placements are decent here with companies like IOCL, etc visiting the campus during placements.
Ultimately, both institutes and branches offer diverse opportunities so you need to consider your inclinations first. If you are a research enthusiast, NIT Rourkela Biotechnology is great but if your first preference is earning money, then go for NIT Durgapur Chemical Engineering.
