Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rourkela was established in 1999 is a premier institute for higher education in Orissa. It enrolls students to technical courses in various branches of engineering. The courses offered by PIET Rourkela are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

College life is the best life

Admission:

To be eligible, I took the Orissa JEE and AIEEE exams. As per their ranks, I was qualified for some of the colleges, and then I had to set preferences as per my requirements. An application form is found on the respective websites. There were no reservations. The admission procedure is good. No need for improvement.

Admission to PIET Rourkela is done based on merit in 10^th and you need to have passed with minimum aggreate marks to be eligible. And, the admission for the next session wil begin tentatively by january 21^st 2024.

Admission date has not been released yet for the academic year 2024-25 at the Purushottam Institute of Engineering and Technology. Admissions are done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance exam.
