All about JIPMER

Likes

Here the campus is very big . Each and every sports facility is being given here jn jipmer
Has outdoor grounds for football, basketball, tennis as well as cricket and volleyball ground.
Jipmer has a well maintained indoor ground as well for badminton, swimming pool etc.

Dislikes

There is no shop or food mart inside the campus u need to go out for even small small things
Hostel timings for going out is not appropriate
The hours taken by the college for lectures as well as clinicals

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest in fields like anatomy and physiology and much more experience I am getting from my Clinical postings from the First year itself. Here exams occur yearly . The Institute follows yearly pattern for exam. Internals occur every month and semi mock exams as well as practicals are taken by the Institute previously final exam at the end of year . The exams are not very easy they are made bit difficult

JIPMER: The best medical institute in South India

Likes

The JIPMER campus is very vast. The campus hosts facilities for almost everything.
JIPMER gives importance to academics and co curricular activities equally.

Dislikes

The admission process is quite tedious and long.
Controlling the crowd in the hospitals is a major issue
The year back system is being followed in JIPMER

-The course gives importance to both theory and practical aspects -The course provides good exposure to clinical settings as JIPMER has super speciality facilities -The year back system may be avoided -There are multiple internal exams at regular intervals and a university exam at the end of the academic year.

Likes

The greeny and calm and quite campus. Eco friendly
Affordable course free and central library availability
Safety and security of students. Special consideration for consulting doctors

Dislikes

Stray dogs are everywhere and make campus less hygienic
Year back system is here. It will effect ur academic
Academic stress and pressure is too high

4 year is the course duration From 2023 onwards u can get stipend. Class room theory classes and cilincal. Posting Class room theory need 75? attendance and Cilicial posting need 100? attendance. 1month vacation on each year

The spandan which is of 7 days conducted
The the most precious I enjoyed clinical here

Dislikes

The sunny weather and the non ac classroom

Central library which is available for 24 hrs for every jipmer students
Facilities like football ground and other sports category
ATM and other banking available inside the campus

Dislikes

Stray dogs all around the campus which is like an arising threat

Here the cource fee is cheaper and affordable
The environment is calm and quite . Eco-friendly campus
They will ensure the safety and security of students

Dislikes

Academic pressure and stress is little high
Year back system which make us to sit with juniors if we fail in exam
Less leave should be taken .if we have Attendance shortage we are unable to write exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Believed that this nursing profession is a noble profession. By this I can serve many mankind. In jipmer clinical attendance is 100% , if we took any leave means we can compensate also. In theory 75 % attendance is needed to write the exam. Here , total 3 Internal assessment is there for each subject, and one send up exam, then University exam at last.

All about jipmer campus

Likes

My hostel and surrounding is soo good it's providing a positive environment.
The library is so nice and calm.I6 provides the best ambience to study

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jipmer curriculum is entirely different. It focuses more on applied aspects. Students will be exposed to patients from the first year onwards which make them more confident during their internship . There are IA for each subject frequently. But the university exam will be held only once a year.

Infrastructure, cleanliness, various departments and the services they provide
Spandan proshows,events including dance,
The act of keeping jipmer nature friendly

Dislikes

Behaviour of some faculties in nursing college..they need to be more respectful towards students..
Unnecessary interference of hostel warden in dressing of hostel students
Students cafeteria was not working for years

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covering all the required areas of the subject. Teaching methods need to be changed Teachers need to make the classes more interactive and interesting by sharing real life incidents The institute is providing best clinical experience and exposure for their students Some of the faculty members are not sincere in their work. Clinical instructor visits clinical areas but rarely explains case scenarios in clinical settings.

We got great faculties in our collge. There is enough opportunity to showcase our talents and passion.
Exams are conducted in a proper schedule. There is enough time and space to study and clarify our doubts and faculties are always tgere for us.
The campus is a huge area, where we can explore and make new friends from different culture. There will be always someone to help us in any need.

Dislikes

There is a lot of subject to be studied in the first year itself. Which makes the students exhausted. Hence the number of hours of classes are also less.
They have removed condonation fees, which had lead to detaining of studnets. The number of classes are so less

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this course provide both diagonostic and therapautic features. Also I would like to work in healthcare sector and i have an opportunity to use physics and maths along with basic medical sunjects. In our department we have excellent faculties with high experiance and they share their knowledge in more easy way to us. We find the bond in our department as team to be very healthy and respectful. We have exporsure for various cases to studied. As bsc students we have 3 internal exams 1 model exam and then final university exam. Nuclear medicine has developed so much and will be a great relief for the healthcare sector in the coming years.

Spandan fest and academic structure for students, good environment also we can get good experience from hospital
Good facilities and teachers really helpful in nature, also they are very humble to students
Good recreational and academic activities for student

Dislikes

Year back system is there for students who failed,it affects students mentally
Academic pressure and frequently exams for students,it has lot of syllabus to study
Early scheduling of class and less leave

Like any other institution, JIPMER will offer you some of the best and worst days of your life.

Academically, I gained exposure to a vast variety of cases. This has worked to enhance my confidence as a medical professional.

In the Pediatrics ward, you may visit the neonatal ICU, and see how sick newborns are taken care of. You may attempt resuscitation on a baby. You may conduct deliveries in the Labour room, and perform minor sutures. You may interact with cancer patients, and others suffering from life threatening illnesses. You may work in the surgical emergency department.You’ll witness many births and deaths.

JIPMER lets you explore your field of interest. Whichever department you are interested in, you can volunteer for the same. You can volunteer in every department if you like, no one will stop you.

I secured 548 marks(GEN) in neet 2022 and I want to pursue Bsc Nursing. Which college should i choose from JIPMER,LHMC,RAKCON? I want to work abroad after my nursing degree. I am from Maharashtra. Please help me regarding these. I am very confused what college to choose as I am eligible for all the colleges.

All the three insitiutes are popular and good for pursuing B.Sc Nursing program. But considering the factors such as infrastructure, faculty, exposure, internships, placements, etc. JIPMER stands on top of the other two colleges.
