Course Curriculum Overview

Jipmer curriculum is entirely different. It focuses more on applied aspects. Students will be exposed to patients from the first year onwards which make them more confident during their internship . There are IA for each subject frequently. But the university exam will be held only once a year.

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 11410 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship will be for 6 months after you complete the course. You will be paid an amount of 13000 per month. You will be working in jipmer as a staff nurse . This opportunity is put forward from this year only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Corse fee is 11410 Hostel fee 20000 Mess fee 3000 Scholarship are available in NSP portal . You will be provided with internship for 6 months . It will be a paid internship with an amount of 13000 per month.

Campus Life

Spandan , Holi , like that many celebrations are there .There are lot of books available in the Library. Rather than chalk and board system they have implemented computerised learning . Alot of extracurricular activities are offered by jipmer including sports , cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

The room is well equipped with fan a table a chair and a coat . The student is provided with their own cupboard. There is no attached bathroom. Meal is provided by mess . It depends upo the mess you choose. Registration will be done on the day of admission.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

The student must have higher secondary education. The application form will be available on jipmer website once it's published. There is no application fees. Puducherry residents and caste based reservation is provided. The admission will be based on the neet score . If you are having a neet score above 500 you have good chance of getting admission.

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
