Candidates who have passed H. Sc. Examination (Academic) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu, or any other equivalent examination accepted by the University, thereto with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, MBC, OBC candidates) in part – III subjects of Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Botany & Zoology) and should have English as one of the subjects.
