The JIPMER

Likes

As it is a top college we have good placements in the future
In clinical setup we can gain alot of knowledge
Infrastructure of college is so good and cleanliness is maintained throughout the college

Dislikes

Semester system should be implemented in the university
Year back for the people who are having backlogs
Prolonged clinical hours .clinical hours are from morning to evening

Course Curriculum Overview:

When we talk about the teaching methods in Jipmer most of knowledge is gained from the clinical setup . As we are posted more than six months initially and it will gradually increase the clinical hours.

The campus beuty we can say. It's fantastic

Dislikes

The mess food sometimes it's bad really. Non of the mess is providing North Indian food

For me it's too good opportunity to choose this course and having this college. faculties and studies things are so good here it's like and rocket rocking thing for me as an student. exams are always on time.

The campus life

Likes

Infrastructure of the campus is very good .
As it is a top college you can be hired easily
Alot of knowledge can be gained from clinical setup

Dislikes

Stipend is not given during the course .
No semester system only annual mode which is very difficult
Year back for the students who have backlog

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here we won't have semister wise exams they conduct in annual mode . But we have internal sessions in which they will take a average of it and those marks will be added to the summative exam.internal sessions will be from moderate to hard level.

campus as whole , park , library , jac , no restricted timings to return hostel both for boys and girls . welcoming atmosphere with various opportunities. helpful professor whose guidance helps a lot along with their friendliness .

Dislikes

hostel quality can be improved!! food for North Indians can be improved. a 24 hours cafeteria should be opened

curriculum is appropriate for students and practical knowledge is more appreciated rather than bookish ..!! exams are also conducted thoroughly throughout the year along with assignments and tests such as students perform regularly!!

I like the education quality provided by jipmer...
I like the sports opportunities it provides to the students
I like that at any time at night you can go out

Dislikes

I dislike weather conditions here in summer
I dislike the food here being a North Indian I barely find good restaurants to eat
The college will fail you if you don't have attendance of 75%

I have chosen radiotherapy technology as there is increasing cancer in the world so it will have lots of job opportunities in coming years..this course will prepare you to get placed in a hospital as a technologist in future...

AHS cources in Jipmer puducherry.

Likes

Campus is really beautiful, so you can enjoy your college life.
Faculties are superb, like some of professors have written some books which can be seen in the overall India.
Healthcare services are too good. Emergency service is there 24/7

Dislikes

Meal quality in mess not so good. As well as you can't get good food like North Indian.

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course and internship... You can apply for the any government medical College technician jobs. Like biochemistry, pathology, microbiology any technician. In central government u can get job opportunities for salaries of 65000/- monthly in my college itself some of senior are working.

Like any other institution, JIPMER will offer you some of the best and worst days of your life.

Academically, I gained exposure to a vast variety of cases. This has worked to enhance my confidence as a medical professional.

In the Pediatrics ward, you may visit the neonatal ICU, and see how sick newborns are taken care of. You may attempt resuscitation on a baby. You may conduct deliveries in the Labour room, and perform minor sutures. You may interact with cancer patients, and others suffering from life threatening illnesses. You may work in the surgical emergency department.You’ll witness many births and deaths.

JIPMER lets you explore your field of interest. Whichever department you are interested in, you can volunteer for the same. You can volunteer in every department if you like, no one will stop you.

I secured 548 marks(GEN) in neet 2022 and I want to pursue Bsc Nursing. Which college should i choose from JIPMER,LHMC,RAKCON? I want to work abroad after my nursing degree. I am from Maharashtra. Please help me regarding these. I am very confused what college to choose as I am eligible for all the colleges.

All the three insitiutes are popular and good for pursuing B.Sc Nursing program. But considering the factors such as infrastructure, faculty, exposure, internships, placements, etc. JIPMER stands on top of the other two colleges.
