campus as whole , park , library , jac , no restricted timings to return hostel both for boys and girls . welcoming atmosphere with various opportunities. helpful professor whose guidance helps a lot along with their friendliness .

Dislikes

hostel quality can be improved!! food for North Indians can be improved. a 24 hours cafeteria should be opened

curriculum is appropriate for students and practical knowledge is more appreciated rather than bookish ..!! exams are also conducted thoroughly throughout the year along with assignments and tests such as students perform regularly!!

internship is a must with monthly stipend in our course technician roles are offered internship is compulsory to do in our own college i haven't been into internship year so do not have much idea related to it

Fees is affordable total fees that is course fees per annum is 5700 hostel fees per annum is 12000 scholarships are provided especially for reservation category. i haven't taken any campus employment yet !

Campus Life

annuall fests conducted is spandan monthly are cult , connaissanse . library is huge and offers a large variety of books also provides a calm environment to study! wifi is available to avail to all the staffs and students...!! sports tournaments are conducted on a regular basis there are a whole lot of opportunities in sports field . jsa ( jipmer student association) runs student social group that mainly focuses on student needs and becomes the voice of students whenever needed .

Hostel Facilities

hostel has a 2 seater and 3 seater rooms with chairs and tables for each one of us and cot also ... according to quality of hostel fees could have been reduced... meals provided within the hostel are 3 times a day menu is south indian

Admission

Admission process was smoothly conducted within 2 days which also included hostel allotment. eligibility of this course is 12th pass with bio as a main combination clearing neet with the minimum cut off .

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
