When we talk about the teaching methods in Jipmer most of knowledge is gained from the clinical setup . As we are posted more than six months initially and it will gradually increase the clinical hours.

Internships Opportunities

Internship for bsc should be only done after there completion of course .six months of internship is there for bsc which is not mandatory. During there six months of internship they will be receiving there stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

People can avail there scholarship in the Jipmer institute . Unreserved students can also avail there scholarship depending upon there eligibility.No stipend is received during the course . Stipend is received once we complete our course

Campus Life

We have annual events like SPANDAN where alot of people can participate in sports and extracurricular activities . There is central library where it is open for 24/7 intrested people can go and study over there.

Hostel Facilities

In Jipmer we have double sharing room and triple sharing room .the quality of food is sometimes good and sometimes bad. And the menu includes both north and south foods . registration into hostel is included during the addmission process

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
