Good campus life and best Placement opportunities

College management is good. there is the Only weak point which I consider is that the attendance issue. In some semesters they might even charge you fine for short attendance which may vary from 1000 to 2000 depending on your attendance. But on the contrary the management is sweet. You feel like there is your family in ggs.

There is no particular entrance as such. It is just your CBSE board exams marks that are considered. When I applied for it my percentage was 96.25%. It is one of the reputed colleges in Delhi University. I asked a lot many people and everyone suggested me that amongst the rest of the colleges of the same level, ggs is the best.

The course structure is very organized. We get 4 or 5 subjects in each semester out of these 2 are optional. We can choose these 2 bases for our interests. the faculty is also very cooperative and overall it is good. The subjects offered in each semester is as per the Delhi universities guidelines. And there are a lot of choices in the subjects given. We can choose any of the ones which we have interest in.

Yes, our college provides summer internship opportunities to its students. There are summer internship fairs and a lot of options available. These are provided by the placement cells. One has to be really active to apply for these opportunities. The stipend may range from no stipend to 8 to 10k depending on where you apply and get the internship.

The placement cell tries to get everyone placed. It is really active and brings a lot of placement opportunities. The bad point mostly profiles are for BCom and BCom Hons students. So just in case, you are opting for eco Hons. Please think about it before joining. I myself got placed in 2 companies.

The events held in college are not too much. Yet a bit of them is organized. Actually the college is good academically but not cocurricular wise. But some societies like the fashion society the dance society are quite active. The commerce society also organizes the management fest that is also not that exceptionally good.

The fees of the college as compared to other Delhi University colleges is a bit high. Where in other colleges yearly fees is 8000, our college has fees of about 17000 to 18000. But this is really less as compared to the private colleges.the private colleges have fees of about forty thousand per semester.

Scholarships are available to the toppers in academics. The top scorers each year are given scholarships. Not the top one but the top 3. Semester toppers are given scholarships too.. not only this scholarships are provided to the all over 3 years toppers. Lot many scholarships are there but only for the academic toppers in the college.

There is a brand new constructed hostel which has just now been opened by the college. But the bad thing is that it is an only girl hostel. I don't know much about the hostel as it has just now been built in our college.

Alumni network is not so good. But yeah the seniors are amazing. You just have to approach them and no doubt they are always ready to help you. Overall everyone out there is really very friendly it is just that you have to be polite and sweet.

The exam structure is organized. There are proper external and internals both conduct in a very serious manner. The internal for the whole college is together. Rests are the assignments and all which are occasional. It is not really hectic. They are easily manageable but yes you need to put in efforts of you want to score well.

Once the board results were out everyone was thinking as to which college to join. Then came the cutoff for delhi universities colleges. I was getting admission in kirorimal college north campus and sggscc in the first list. Rest all colleges were inferior to these. So i opted for sggscc. The procedure of grtting admission was very simple. I just went with my documents deposited documets and submitted fees and got my admission. Then in the 3rd list i was getting venky.. but i didn't switch and i am happy to be a ggsite.

The faculty of Sri guru Gobind Singh college of commerce is highly qualified. The staff of the college is really very cooperative. This could be seen even at the time when you go for filling your admission there. Teachers are too good caring and very helpful. Regarding the course and all the teachers are really willing to teach if you are ready to study.
