Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very structured as I am pursuing a Bcom hons. This course is the best being taught in GGS, DU. The staff faculty and methodology of teaching by professors are unique and to the point. It becomes quite engaging at times. Most of the professors have done PHds which makes them even more educated. There are exams according to the prescribed dates by Delhi University.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell offers a variety of internships throughout the whole year. New, latest internships keep coming in placement groups with an average of 5000 as a base stipend and internship fairs are also organised.
Placement Experience
Placements at my college are from big MNCs as well along with mid-cap firms. Approximately 70 per cent of students who sit for placements get placed in huge companies and Big 4s with decent packages. I am also planning to sit for placements after my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for Bcom and Bcom hons lie between 27500 to 31500. The fees for BMS, Eco Hons, BSc Comp. Science is around 50k to 55k per year. The scholarship opportunities are available for sikh students and low-income groups. The job placement in college is also great as it gives approx 6 LPA as the average package and the highest goes to 31 LPA in computer science courses.
Campus Life
The social life here, campus, infrastructure, environment and rest of the surroundings are just fantabulous. There are Air conditioners in every class along with the most efficient service in the library, computer labs and Classes.
Admission
It was great all together. We had to give CUET and then wait for other rounds to get selected into a particular college and course combination. I got a benefit from the Sikh minority quota to get into Sri Guru Gobind Singh college of Commerce. The rest of the process after the CUET examination was smooth and systematic.
