College campus is good for study and teachers are good.
Seniors are also very helpful and they organised class in free time.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not much good. Govt take this college and rework it.
Teachers are not much helpful. They are help only their subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose CSE and IT. But I got IT so I was admitted in this department. A total of 60 students are here. The faculty are very good but they are not much helpful in other than their own subject. Otherwise, it is a good choice for students.

Not a good placement is conducted by this college. But 50-60 % of students are placed by the college. CSE, IT, and ECE students are given a good salary. I can go for off-campus placement or other govt job.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the admission time, the one-semester fee is 44100 and the rest of the semester's fees are 37100. Here You can apply for SVMCM, NSP, Oasis, and other private and govt scholarships but the college will verify only one. The company hired students from this college.

Campus Life

Yes, it's campus life is good. A sports ground is here. The annual fest is held in this college. Also, some tech fests or hackathons are organized here. Seniors are helping in studies as a mentor or teacher. They can organize a session and discuss their subject.

Admission

Yes, I attempted the WBJELET Exam. After that counseling started and I chose this college. Yes, the Reservation is also here, SC ST OBC benefited. At the admission time, the semester fees was 44100 for all departments and the rest semester fees were 37100.

Interview Experience

WBJEE and WBJELET are the entrance exams that will help you to get admission to this college. After all rounds of counseling the if seat is not full in any department then the college holds a direct admission procedure and the admission is based on your rank.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
