Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course for my interest in computer science. It more or less helps in real world applications or further academic pursuits. The syllabus must be reconstructed and many useless topics and subjects can be avoided in our course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of my course is 6.25 lacs .The yearwise fees is 1.5 lacs approximately. In my course the admission fee was 96000 rupees including 1st sem fees uniform library charges and all. For civil and mechanical branches the amount is a bit lesser. We can avail svmcm scholarship if we fulfill the requirements.
Campus Life
Our college have some cultural clubs and societies and they organise many events . We have an grand annual fest along with many events over the year . Students involve in this as an extra curricular activity College also organises an intra-college football and a cricket tournament every year
Admission
This college accepta candidates through wbjee and I got into this by wbjee too. In the choice filling it was not one of my top preferences but as it is a reputed college, it was in my list. And as per rank i got a seat here.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good enough . I can't tell the exact numbers but we don't face any issues regarding this. Every faculty member of my department is pretty helpful and I have no objections . There are two semesters exams every year and in every semester there are 4 internal tests for theory subjects.
Night Life
As a day scholar I didn't have any chance to spend time at night near the college so I don't have an exact idea but I can say that the area is not too populated and not too safe after the college hours
