Amity explorers

I applied for Heritage, Adamas. I still choose to go for this cause of the exposure it would give to peruse my dreams outside Indian as well. The faculties are themselves trained in and out India. Heritage had a high cut off but Adamas was also an option. But Amity stood out for me considetig uts infrasctructre, the curriculum and also its location. I did speak with 2 of my seniors suggesting me to get into this and it being a good option. I have applied in total 3 colleges, out of which one is Amity and the other two are Parul and Galgotias and I got selected in both the colleges. I have not chosen Parul university because it was very far from my hometown and haven't chosen Galgotias because the environment was not good. But, in Amity, this college is close to my hometown and the environment is also good here. For admission in Amity, you have to fill their admission form that will cost you around Rs 1000 then student have to show them their 12th marksheet and then they will get selected on the merit basis and they can also get the scholarship if they lie in their eligibility criteria that I have mentioned earlier. I got accepted to all private colleges which had psychology but I chose amity because they give you the freedom and to some people it might feel that amity is a fashion show but no, our hoi is very strict about it The campus is very spacious but climbing so many stairs without lift is VERY HARD. if only they could fix that I think everything would have been fine. I didn't apply for any other colleges though I thought of Adamas and Heritage. But I got to know since the last few years only marketing placements are being provided by the other colleges which I wouldn't prefer in future being a btech biotechnology student. Amity has better opportunities and placements which I heard from my friends who were already studying. I was a dropper student and I didn't want to take one year of risk so J got into this college for partial drop so that even If I don't get , I would still have a good opportunity . Placement could be improved. There could be more interactive sessions by placement department. As well as, college could try to host some campus drives. As well as, placement department should take some sessions on 'How to get hired?'....Read More
