Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is outdated and it needs some changes, and it is not so deep as it has to be. Exams are too easy here. And the teaching methods of the faculties are good the topics that they teach make sure to memorize them because that will be very helpful

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is very limited in our college . Just 2 or 3 students are getting internship in any company and that too by offcampus . Profs also not encouraging about internships . They are not giving NOCs for internships.

Placement Experience

2

The Training and Placement Officer dont do anything you have to be self aware. About your placement, they say that they placed them but in reality they were there hardowork so please do some grind in studies, if you work hard you will surely get placed somewhere

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fee (one time) - Rs 5000 Caution Money (one time , Refundable) - Rs 2000 Cultural & Sports Fees (per semester ) - Rs 500 Development Fees(Per Semester) - Rs 5000 Laboratory Fees(Per Semester) - Rs 2000 Semester Examination fees (Per Semester) - Rs 1500 Student Welfare Fund (Per Semester) - Rs 100 Tuition Fees (Per Semester) - Rs 28,000 In this above fees structure , some of the components are one time , and refundable Overall you are looking then per year course fees is Rs74200. And if u r opting for hostel , Then annual charges are Rs10800.

Campus Life

2

The campus life really sucks man . Here no cultural activities took place . Everyone is busy in this-that activity . No one cares about campus and social life . This college lacks in basic sports facilities

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is quite good . Year hostel accommodation Costs around Rs10800. And from 4th year everyone will get single room and they are free to do their stuffs..lol Nearby pg also available , but they are lill bit costly .

Admission

I choose this college because i have some financial constraint and i want to do Engineering in limited course fee . I want a decent type of placement which this college will provide to me ,. Also this college has proximity to my Home state.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio in Information technology branch is 1:12 Overall the faculties are good , but some of them are eager to sack the students . I like some of the Profs in m branch , one is PSC sir and and the other one is ACH sir . Majorly faculties are approachable , and ver helpful . here theory exams are divided into mid sem and end sem and 10 marks for attendence . lab exams conducted for 100marks

Night Life

1

There is not night life in this college . Also this local area is quite dangerous . Many thiefs are roaming here and there . Once i heard that one of our seniors got kidnapped just from the college main gate . this area is really very dangerous man , .

Students become eligible from the 7th semester and that's when the companies start approaching. In 2025, for biotechnology, companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Nestle, Zifo visited. A total of 12 offers were made. 50% students were placed among who registered. I am currently pursuing M.E in BIOPROCESS TECHNOLOGY from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY.

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft. The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles, finance in some cases. The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

The college hosts a range of companies including TCS,Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant etc but iam not agree and satisfied with college internship and placement support The overall average placement ranges between 60-70 percent sometimes varying but not providing good internships to students also companies are not picking many students only hiring about 4-5 students, I don't think the college has good membership with companies.
