Likes
- The infrastructure is really good. We have AC in all the labs , and cc tv in labs and classrooms. The computers in the lab is of good quality they are regularly monitored.
- The faculties are really good and helpful. They are always welcoming. We can ask for help at anytime. The lectures are really good. They provide study materials for the semester exams. Overall teaching is good
- Our college has several clubs and forums. Like for sports, performing arts and for technology. Every year our college organises technical fest and in every 3 year it organises cultural fest
Dislikes
- The campus is small due to its location we don't have dedicated field to play on
- We have only one lift ,, for that it is difficult to get space in the lift we have to take stairs maximum time
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is under MAKAUT university. So the MAKAUT syllabus is followed here. Some subjects are not that important but most subjects are really important like DBMS , computer network, oop, dsa etc. in the software engineering lab we have made real life web applications.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities are given. Some are with stipend some are not. The internships are in various fields like aiml, dev ops, web development etc. our college regularly provide us many internship related news to keep us updated
Placement Experience
The placements are moderately good of our college. The average percentage is around 80 percent. And the average ctc is around 500000 per annum. Companies like infosys, accenture, cognizant, amazon vcs and many more comes for on campus placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees is around 4lakh, we have to give 68900 in the time of addmission including the 1st sem fees , then for 2nd sem 44000, for 3rd- 45100, 4th - 45100, 5th -46200, 6th -46200,7 th - 47300, and for 8th 47300. We can opt for government scholarships like svmcm.
Campus Life
Our college has many clubs and forums. Like sports, performing art, debate, art , tech etc. our college organises tech fest every year and cultural fest in every 3 years. And many workshops, seminars , events are organised throughout the year
Admission
We have to appear on wbjee or jee mains to get into this college. I got into the college based on my wb jee rank. The course fees is relatively less than most other engineering colleges. This is a value for money deal. My rank was 26800 in the wb jee. And I got IT in this college but then I changed my course to cse. Because I scored above 8.5 gpa in the 1st year
Faculty
The faculties are really good. Every one is well qualified. They are very helpful. They have a friendly manner. Our hod ananya mam is a really good person. She is very helpful. Faculties take regular classes they also share study materials which are really helpful for the semester exams.
Night Life
There are many restaurants, gym, shopping mall near our college and college hostels. We can spend our time there if we want. Restaurant outlets like dominos, subway, wow momo, indian restaurant are there near the college
